If someone shows up at a hospital that has no money to pay, who exactly pays? Are you saying you don't mind paying just so somebody makes a profit? It is all our money, tax, insurance, donations, whatever, we still pay. we will see, I still don't have a TV and just now got internet so I need to catch up, but I kinda doubt Trump and the Conservatives came up with a new system that keeps Trumps promises. You know, cheaper, better, universal. I could be wrong...

The Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, has helped about 20 million Americans gain health insurance coverage, and lowered costs for others. But the law came with glitches that have caused huge cost increases for a subset of the insured public that numbers perhaps 1 million Americans. Congress could tweak the law to help those being pinched by it. But that’s not on the agenda in the Republican-controlled Congress or President Trump’s White House, where the only options seem to be an outright repeal of the law or a major rollback. If the GOP repeal bills fail, which seems likely, Trump has said bluntly, “we’ll let Obamacare fail.”
Bold by me.

Fixable by a minor tweak to the law.

Yes, there are some problems with Obamacare but they're relatively minor problems like the one noted that only affects about one million people on Obamacare. When we've looked at what Republicans in the House proposed it would dramatically increase the costs for literally everyone that lives to be 50 years old. Age alone, under the GOP proposal, becomes a "pre-existing condition" making insurance unaffordable.

The problems for the GOP is that Obamacare isn't failing overall and when it comes to the expansion of Medicaid it's been an unqualified success even for Republican states like Arizona that adopted the expansion. There are a few exchanges that might "fail" if no insurance companies offer insurance but it's only about 39 counties across the nation where that potential exists. Obamacare only fails if Republicans force it to fail.

Fortunately in anticipating the failure of the House Obamacare repeal in the Senate a bipartisan group of Representatives in the House has already begun to address problems with Obamacare that can easily be fixed with minor tweaks to the law.

Based upon the corruption, brutality, inhumanity, immorality, dishonesty, and incompetence of the Trump administration the White House is the dirtiest house in America and there's no known cleanser that with remove the stains of the Trump Administration.

Obamacare needs more than a minor tweak. It needs a full transfusion.
Even then it will remain on life support. Congress will constantly have to find funds to support it as it becomes more and more a giant boondoggle delivering less quality and performance in the health care system.

It is, at the root, a slush fund for insurers who are carving it up into mini monopolies. According to the CMS there are over 50 counties with no insurance provider. Frankly it is these people who suffer the most from the GOP failure to give Obamacare a "little Teak."

The Obamacare Death Spiral Continues to Spin Out of Control ⋆ The Constitution

“According to recent data released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), in 2018, 1,332 counties in the United States will have only one health insurer operating on the Obamacare exchanges and 49 will have none.

“The data comes from the Health Insurance Exchanges Issuer County Map, which shows projected issuer participation on the Health Insurance Exchanges in 2018 based on the issuer public announcements made prior to late July of 2017.

“‘The map currently shows that nationwide 49 counties are projected to have no issuers, meaning that Americans in these counties could be without coverage on the Exchanges in 2018,’ a press release for the agency states. ‘It’s also projected that 1,332 counties—over 40 percent of counties nationwide—could only have one issuer in 2018.’”

Americans may see or hear about the closing stores, rising debt, Obamacare, food stamps, regulations, offshoring, homosexuality, endless US wars, increasing taxes, illegal immigrants, nanny state laws, security cameras, license plate readers, checkpoints, redlight cameras, speed cameras, FBI facial and voice recognition, curfews, gun bans, NSA wiretapping, the end to the right to silence, free speech bans, searches without warrants, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, private prison quotas, no knock raids, take down notices, no fly lists, terror watch lists, Constitution free zones, stop and frisk, 3 strikes laws, kill switches, National Security Letters, DNA databases, kill lists, FBAR, FATCA, Operation Chokepoint, TSA groping, civil forfeiture, CIA torture, NDAA indefinite detention, secret FISA courts, FEMA camps, laws requiring passports for domestic travel, IRS laws denying passports for tax debts, gun and ammo stockpiles, laws outlawing protesting, police militarization, and Jade Helm, but they're not connecting the dots that all these seemingly unrelated issues are part of the plot to destroy the USA.

Americans are so brainwashed, divided, distracted, degraded, and demoralized now that they might even think these trends are necessary and proof that the US is improving.
