Progressive don't think that way. This has been a long term agenda since the time of President Wilson to one end. Irresistible, unflappable, unstoppable, and unreasonably anti Republic as we know it.

Universal health care is only one cornerstone of many civil rights to eventually be guaranteed, even though they were intentionally not covered in the original covenant in 1789.

You guys are amazing in your pitiful arrogance and ignorance:

It turns out, the Founding Fathers would beg to disagree.

In July of 1798, Congress passed – and President John Adams signed - “An Act for the Relief of Sick and Disabled Seamen.” The law authorized the creation of a government operated marine hospital service and mandated that privately employed sailors be required to purchase health care insurance.

Sounds to me like that was the start of the VA, not single payer health care.

The Progressives want Obamacare kept in place long enough to collapse the healthcare system so socialized medicine can be imposed as a cure all.
Nothing is 100% perfect in providing insurance to all of the pre-Medicare households but the proposal does provide health insurance for workers based upon the "Employer Mandate" and for everyone else though Medicaid. So yes, in principle, it covers all working age American households.

Who else is there left to cover?

The only real drawback I see is that the federal government will be required to fully fund the expansion of Medicaid even though this should be a split responsibility between the federal government and the individual states that voluntarily provide the Medicaid. As noted though, if the federal government doesn't fully fund it then the damn Republicans will refuse the expansion at the state level, like they did with the PPACA (Obamacare) leaving millions of uninsured.

Based upon the corruption, brutality, inhumanity, immorality, dishonesty, and incompetence of the Trump administration the White House is the dirtiest house in America and there's no known cleanser that with remove the stains of the Trump Administration.

My medical services are provided for by the VA (instead of Medicare) and I don't pay a premium. This actually sounds more like the first Individual Mandate for health insurance.
