I'm a Libertarian with no members of my political party in Congress and I will once again point out that Congress passed Obamacare and Congress was responsible for fixing any problems that were identified during the implementation of Obamacare. Congress failed to do that and Congress is responsible for that failure.

Each individual member of Congress, regardless of party, that failed to address and resolve the the problems is responsible for the failures.

Based upon the corruption, brutality, inhumanity, immorality, dishonesty, and incompetence of the Trump administration the White House is the dirtiest house in America and there's no known cleanser that with remove the stains of the Trump Administration.

Is this your new favorite position?

Not one Republican voted for this POS. And not one Republican is responsible for fixing it.

I find this "$1.2 billion" in unrepaid government loans to be an intriguing number because in 2010 the CBO also identified $1.2 billion in unrepaid TARP (government) loans to about 600 banks that used the funds to purchase failed banks.

Banks With $1.2 Billion In Unpaid TARP Loans Buy 18 Failed Banks From FDIC | Problem Bank List

It's like the $1.2 billion is a magical number when it comes to the federal government loaning money. Most of the loans are repaid and then when it comes down to those enterprises having difficulty and $1.2 billion remains to be repaid then it's identified. Of course I don't know how much of that $1.2 billion in TARP loans was eventually repaid and we don't know how much of this $1.2 billion will be eventually be repaid but I'd assume that over time much if not all of it will be repaid. Either that happens or the enterprises receiving the loans will end up in bankruptcy but that's not what this story, or the previous story on TARP loans, is discussing.

Of course with both TARP and in this case there were "losses" incurred and someone in the private sector had to pay for those losses but that's not an exception but instead the rule when dealing with private enterprise. Donald Trump made a fortune while driving several of his corporations into bankruptcy so who lost money while Trump made millions? It's just a normal state of affairs in the business world. While ideally enteprise is best served based upon win-win situations often it's a case where some win and others lose. I can't see any "capitalists" complaining about the normal state of affairs in the business world that's often based upon winners and losers.

Ultimately this is just about that perhaps magical number $1.2 billion in outdstanding government loans that still need to be repaid.

In the first comment you blame the Republican controlled House for failing to fix the Democrats Obamacare mess. In the second, you claim indifference to party affiliation just blame "Congress" ignoring the more than 50 Obamacare reform bills passed by the House but ignored by the Senate out of partisan animosity. Congress didn’t fail to fix Obamacare Senate Democrats did.

Is this, essentially, the "you, too" argument?

If so, it may be described as the tu quoque fallacy...

Well, you are a "[p]rogressive [l]ibertarian," as the description just to the right of your avatar says.

And I would emphasize the "progressive" part...
