Doctor's are going to stop serving me because I don't give them my SSN
when it is not required. Geesh
Didn't you know? Having your SSN helps them diagnose you better.

Really, if you have insurance or any federal payor they already have it. Of they dont have it, you dont get care or any more than legally required. If you dont pay your medical bills they need it to sue you.

The space to record that is on line 137b of the new medical reporting form.

Like I said before,Obamacare is about Power,NOT Healthcare!
Obamacare and in general the US Healthcare could profit from implementing some of the Swiss-Healthcare System!

Funny,I never had to give my Doctor my SS-Number,and my Health-Records can't be divulged to anyone without my say-so!
My Healthcare is between my Doctor,me and my Insurance!
All Government does is require that I do have Healthcare-Insurance!

Government Officials here will never see my Records, unless they get a Courtorder, and that better be relevant!
Besides, there is a Referendum underfoot to tighten Privacy even further!

You know Swiss, that is all well and good for you and your country. However here in the USA our congress sees anything done in other countries as a treat. Hence the insist on coming up with a bastardized system when it was finally passed. Oh an this is the first health care system in the USA in our history to come close to universal health care. A full century behind most of the rest of the world. Americans are arrogant jackasses with the only thing that makes them a super power is our military might which covers the fact we are quickly slipping into a third world power. This has been coming for decades and can't be blamed on a single president but could be on a series of piss poor congresses back to back.

"Obamacare will question your sex life," says a New York Post headline this week.

The opinion piece underneath, written by former lieutenant governor of New York Betsy McCaughey, author of Beating Obamacare, begins:

PolitiFact | Betsy McCaughey says on next doctor visit, ?Obamacare will question your sex life?

Interesting SwissMan. You really should start another thread and give us your opinion of the Swiss Health Care System and tell us the good and bad parts. It is run by the government, what does it cost, etc. Should make a really interesting discussion topic. Put it in the News and Current Events because that is where most people go when they sign on.

I don't know if you are familiar with our health care system, but if you are, I would be interested to know if you think the American Government is capable of instituting a system like this without screwing it up.
