This is just one story. I'm sur eif all the insurance companies were to put the total number of accidents where one or more drivers were using their cell phones then got involved in accidents the numbers would be in the thousands. Or do like me have a ear plug and th ecell ready so you can drive with two eyes and hands.
KHP report blames cell phone in deputy’s death

LAWRENCE — The Kansas Highway Patrol says a driver was distracted by a cell phone when his car struck and killed a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy earlier this summer.
The KHP report says 20-year-old Kyle William Van Meter was inattentive and failed to yield right of way when he struck Lt. David K. Dillon, who was riding his bicycle.
