Some presidents didn't have the will, as I am sure the Army asked his father and Bill Clinton to sign the order. What do you think about this. Was Bush right to sign the order?
July 29, 2008 Bush approves execution of American soldier Ronald Gray Ronald Gray leaves a Fort Bragg courtroom in 1988 after being sentenced to death Times Online George W Bush has approved the death sentence of an army soldier convicted of murder and rape, becoming the first US president to approve a military execution in 51 years. Ronald A. Gray, 42, a former army cook, has been on death row since he was convicted by a court martial panel in 1988. In the US, a military court requires the President's signature of approval in order to approve a death sentence. Mr Bush granted the army's formal request that he approve the sentence by signing an order from the Oval Office yesterday, according to a White House spokesperson. "President Bush this morning accepted the recommendation of the Secretary of the Army to approve a sentence of death for army private Ronald A. Gray, affirming the sentence that resulted from a general court martial for multiple charges of murder and rape committed while serving as a member of the armed services," Dana Perino said in a statement. We are a nation of law's! I accept that. A house divided is ruined. And, we are divided.
That is what the elite want. And some waste the energy doing their bidding. It has to be the bennies for these people to enlist. I don't think.Yea because that which I speak aren't yet the majority, so maybe they do see a future. He has no excuse. He was a cook. Plain power and evil. And he admits it. Firing squad! |

![]() You win. Whatever you say, just don't make me try to figure out most of what that meant. My eyes are literally watering just reading it again I'm glad the President signed this, but don't feel the process is right. No one, not even the POTUS, should ever be in a position to be singled out as the executioner. We collectively make that decision. 20 years in prison. That's horse hockey.

Don't bother re-reading it. The house divided was meant for this board or the Nation. It hinted at the many differences American has. Far this to both sides, conservatives, liberals, the ones for the death penalty and those against it.
Sometimes beside reading my points you have to feel the thought. lol |
