I notice these editorial letters to the editor relate news of late. So let me post these few local letters and try to do so each day. Please make comments! And join in as this is the voice of American in so many ways. Each crying for truth and real reality which affects many of us or our friends and family. Add your voice, Make American work... This is from a few days ago!

The front page had another (on the state legislation/city council, reaction to needs) story on the police/fire department, were in need of encasements in personnel. Yet lower down this was read. Look at the newer editorial on county jails and how here in KS. it has been a real local countyy deal. Kind of like all your eggs in one basket thingy.
And after this a few days later the city councl was back at road repair or a new fire department (even though the paid consults said a new one wasn't needed) But our roads ar ein sorry repair all over the city. And the fire chif saying he had to suht down anothe rdepartment for a day and do less overtime to repace firemen on leave etc., to meet the buget. What thinking got us in this?

Ok now that I got the new printer/scanner/copier working right I can start to show this is worth the effort to get your local news and opinions pages into the thread.
1. You need to be able to scan from your newspaper.. Thats a given.

2. You will need a online image location. I use free photobucket and there are a few others like imageshack or SnapFish

3 know which way to copy the picture/image into the thread. At photo bucket one has four choices beside the picture, even after left clicking on the image to enlarge it. The bottom one is best to place the image into any location on line. Just click it and right click your mouse and select copy. Now if you use the clip board in M$ then once it is left clicked it is in your clipboard. But I never remember which keys I need to select at that point so I do it the way described above. No wbefore posting it open a new album and name it Scanned items or News reprts. If you get into this alot you will need several albums so always creat hen first. Cause if one moves a image later it is deleted from the thread or location you pasteded it into.

This has been going on before the session began. I wished I had started then
to show this as a complete story of GOP and DNC power at the local level of county govt. That is the real danger of the parties.

One city council man walked out of a meeting and told reporters here in Topeka it is like the Capital, the ones in positions of power don't listen to the people.

A bit of national and world news... One day it is this and the next it becomes that in Iraq. I hope others get involved with this thread. If your local paper is on line then it is eaier to just post a link with some info. We here in KS. have all 3 local news stations and the paper.
