That side is 100% blue state mentality...If you think a "blue state country" would reverse course on this flying solo, you're out of your mind...

Meanwhile, a "red state country" would jump at the chance and corner the local market...

The right will allow companies to rape the environment for short term profit. The will not conserve anything. And they won't work together to do anything because that ruins your freedom to be useless to everyone else. Ha ha

No we won't split the United States down the middle. There are two major schools of thought, but they will work it out. However ugly that job might be.
We don't want the blue states to suffer complete liberalism as that would be bad for us all. We don't want red states living under total conservatism, cause they should benifit from both ideologies.

If we were talking about truth here, if we were saying once these people are given the top job they held to even half of the promises that brung 'em to the dance, both sides have merit.
I suspect it is the less flashy non Presidential congressman who comes to the compromise he must in order to make the gravy and not just sit around the kitchen.

There is no benefit to the progressivism that has taken over the democrat party, so I don't want any part of that.

Bachmann is right. The muslim culture is decidedly inferior to western culture, so is the culture of head hunting tribes, the slave states of north central Africa not to mention the culture of communist states. Its more than fair to make judgements about these things. Progressives are afraid to make those judgements and people notice that.

The US isn't going to separate in my lifetime although I wish it would but it is going to separate. Probably before another generation passes.

There was just one big national question that divided the country then and the war settled it. Now every question divides the country along red/blue lines, nothing can settle it. I think both sides would be better off without the other.

Look, w are not one people anymore. I don't feel like the blue people have anything to do with me. They are as foreign as Europeans to me. I'm sure I'm the same to them.

I think you overlook the stagnation that has occured in the U.S. in the past 35 years. When you say that Muslim culture is inferior to westrn culture you are examining apples and oranges. Religious culture and Government culture are not the same. It must be great to try to feel superior to someone else. I'm in Australia right now. They don't seem to be suffering the problems we are in thye U.S.. They already have their healthcare system fixed. It was a cross between socialism and capitalism. Seems to work fine and has pretty much universal support here. They have a booming economy. Home values never took the hit. In fact they have 12% growth in home values last year. No funny accounting. Better education system.

So when you say superior what is superior about the U.S. today besides our military?
