Of all the current news I could post on I am writing this. Now I know I voted for the right guy!
I needed to eat so upstairs to make some tuna sandwiches. The silence was broken by the air conditioner coming on. As I sat down to eat I'm thinking should I turn on the news. It might upset me.

So I decided to put on MSNBC, a bad situation during rush hour in D.C. a passenger train derailed and hit another oncoming passenger train, two dead and many hurt. BREAKING NEWS...........So sad.

Then they go to the N.K. ship that might have weapons that sanctions say NO NO. Remember it might have them.....
Now remember N.K. has said that to board the ship means war. There are several pundits saying this. Then John McCain comes on and says board the ship.
Now I respect him and his military family background.
But please some Senator send a page out for some DUCK TAPE
and wrap this war monger to his Senate seat and double warp his mouth!

This clown doesn't get it. We have no plans to deal with another war or really how to deal with N.K. without the ship and the missile pointed at Hawaii, set to be fire on the 4th of July.
I don't care if he wants to lead the GOP shut him up.

Then another story let the GOP get the gun thing right as they have allowed 90% of the people on the terror watch List in the last 5 years to buy guns or explosives. Just out by the GOA. Yes a loop hole which will soon might be closed.
Some guy that 20-30 years ago got arrested for some small thing today can't legally buy a gun sense the patriot act came into being . Yet those who are on the watch list can and do???
Damn I try to stay nuteral on the political side of things, really I try to be in the middle..
But my fear of being upset by turning on the news came true. The GOP is forcing me to take sides. And they are so disorganized they can't do more than say stupid things to be on the other side of the aisle.

Why can't they just try to make things work. Give good ideas and think thing through.

You should do like me. End up at a restaurant with a TV that they forget to turn the sound up on and when something looks interesting, you miss the whole darned thing anyway!

But yes jumping the gun and saying, "board the ship!" is silly in a detrimental way. Although one of the guys on here has the byline-"diplomacy is a precursor for war" or something to that effect. We will end up at war with NK and Iran before it's all over with I haven't the slightest doubt in my mind. We just need to have all our little Western ducks in a row before we do.

It's called DUCT TAPE, ... and yes, if NK is going to think it can ride all the way up to within range of Hawaii and unload everything required for a nuclear missle in Myanmar, WE NEED TO CALL THEIR BLUFF!

If we board the NK ship, I think the North Koreans are more likely to ask for amnesty than Kim will attack anything and risk his life/country.

NK won't attack, especially with a nuke or two, they just want money from us. Why haven't you figured this out yet?

Of course, perhaps considering how much a wimp Obama is turning out to be we might not respond to NK attacks with overwhelming proportional force.

Perhaps you're right. Perhaps McCain understands that Obama hasn't the balls to defend Hawaii or S. Korea and this is really the only last chance to get him to do so.

As usual you make a valid points. All we have to deal with them or Iran comes out of a silo/sub/surface ship or our attack aircraft. Because we have no Draft nor the manpower! And to count on the EU/UN is a waste of time.

I think he is seeking the party leadership based upon all he has to say. One of my points was let the small crap lay. Pick up on the larger piles while the GOP is trying to find themselves. They haven't turned over every rock yet!
