Yeah you throw a Republican in there so you can back up that little claim. But truth is you've been on a mission for quite awhile now finding as many Democrat wrong doers as possible to post about.
Look 'em up yourself and you will see I'm correct.
YOU have an agenda.

I suppose if Fox News reports something negative about a Republican, that must make them "fair and balanced" as well, huh...

We've already been through an OVERVIEW on this issue.
The red states typically have MORE corruption than the blue states.
http://www.politicalwrinkles.com/new...orruption.html

That, and I have yet to see you report some of the bigger items.
When Bush lied about torturing people, where's your thread on that?
When Bush said that he would get to the bottom of the Valerie Plame issue and then PARDONED the guy who was convicted of OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, where's your thread on that?

And what about the whole "Alaska" corruption scandal?
Where you showed you wanted the CORRUPT politician to win over the Democrat, in hopes that the Republican would bow out and get a REPUBLICAN put into place???
HOW did the CORRUPT REPUBLICAN get through the primaries in the first place???
Or how about Florida, where they had a Republican KKK member elected to a political seat... Did you post on that one? Or did you side-step it?

That's like saying "If you have a problem with Suzy throwing mud, maybe you should throw mud back at Suzy"...

I have no problem with FS reporting political misconduct.
What I do have a problem with is this attempt to use the misconduct as a POLITICAL WEAPON.

To take your approach a different way, maybe I should start a thread with this web-site as the main course.
Republican values create child molesters

Quite a list of Republican pedophiles, huh...
Must prove that there is a Republican problem with pedophilia, huh...

No. The solution to mud slinging is not to try to sling more mud.
Faithful_servant's actions help further the party, but ignore the bigger problem.
People spend more time pointing fingers at one side of the problem, which solves nothing about the problem itself.

OK, put your money Where your lieing mouths are... C'mon, start showing me the wealth of Rep. corruption cases being pursued. Not years old stuff, but current events. I post EVERY SINGLE ARTICLE I FIND ABOUT CORRUPTION IN OUR POLITICAL SYSTEM AND I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S ASS WHETHER THE CROOK HAS A "D" OR AN "R" BEHIND THIER NAME. IN FACT, I'D RATHER SEE THE "R"S TOSSED IN JAIL AND WHAT WAS ONCE A PARTY THAT HAD THIS NATION'S BEST INTERESTS AT HEART RETURNED TO THAT IDEAL. I WANT TO SEE THE ROTTEN SOBS THAT HAVE CORRUPTED A PARTY IWAS ONCE PROUD TO BE MEMBER OF THROWN IN JAIL. YOU, ON THE OTHER HAND WILL APOLOGIZE, DEFEND AND MAKE EXCUSES FOR EVERY ROTTEN POS "D" THAT GETS ACCUSED OF A CRIME. BLAGO'S PROBBLY THE ONLY "D" I CAN REMEMBER EITHER OF YOU MAKING A SOLID STAND AGAINST. SO EITHER PUT UP OR SHUT UP. POST SOME CURRENT CASES BEING BROUGHT AGAINST "R"S AND SHOW ME THAT THERE'S MORE CROOKS BEING BROUGHT TO JUSTICE ON THE RIGHT THAN ON THE LEFT. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO BECAUSE I KNOW HOW THIS PLAYS OUT. I ACTIVELY LOOK FOR EXAMPLES OF CORRUPTION - ESPECIALLY "R"S ADN I CAN GUARANTEE YOU THAT IF YOU ARE HONEST, OBJECTIVE AND FAIR, YOU'LLL FIND FAR MORE "D"S ON THE SCALES OF JUSTICE.

My comment was in reply to HIS comment about "wonder why they don't mention the name of the party" (paraphrasing).
When a Republican does something really stinky like water boarding prisoners or trading drugs for arms for hostages, I don't hear my GOP friends condemning those actions. Why?
The reason I ask is because I heard many many Democrats condemn Bill Clinton for his cigar fiasco.
EXACTLY!

Instead, what you see is obfuscation, denial, and defense.
"A Barbara Streisand concert is torture, so torture must be in the eye of the beholder" mentality.
The "It's the criminalization of politics" junk.

And it's not just one side either. Pelosi gets up on her rant against Republican scandals and pretending its epidemic to the party, while she looks the other way on her own party's scandals.
We can easily call Pelosi on her crap.
But when FS pulls something similar ... ????

I see everything I just said was COMPLETELY ignored by you.
1) BOTH saltwn and myself gave examples.
2) I explained why it's futile to go in a "party name witch-hunt".

I think it's great that you post scandals.
But when you start making insinuations about one PARTICULAR party, you cross a line.

3) To give you something on your own level.
Republican values create child molesters
Republicans are more likely to be pedophiles.
I just proved it at your level of approach.

You've got an incredibly short memory.
I remember one thread where I STARTED the thread criticizing Pelosi.
After several posts, you popped on trying to proclaim that I was DEFENDING Pelosi's actions and looking the other way.
I firmly hold that Clinton NEEDED to be punished for LYING to the American people. But when Bush lies by saying "we do not torture", you don't care.
Let me guess? Am I going to get a "perjury" defense for Bush, cause obviously "under oath" was Clinton's REAL problem and just SAYING the lie was fine and dandy under Republican thinking????

Your attitude and claims are absurd.
And the funny thing about this is I see NO need to start down this path with you on a pragmatic level.
There are those people who will bobble-head your mentality, cause they'll just bobble-head the Republican mentality no matter what. The people who will obfuscate and defend "torture" while trying to put forth a pretend argument that it's not torture.
And then you have the people who can view things more objectively, and I think they pretty much see the situation for what it is.

You want to talk about "MAKE EXCUSES FOR" Republicans with corruption problems? With honesty problems?
Puh-leaze!
An illustrated guide to Republican scandals. - By Holly Allen, Christopher Beam, and Torie Bosch - Slate Magazine
If we went down the list, how many different ways would you excuse these actions???

Default Ex-Pa. Sen. Fumo appeals corruption conviction

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Former state Sen. Vincent Fumo is appealing his recent federal conviction on 137 corruption counts.

The 65-year-old Philadelphia Democrat cites insufficient evidence and a juror's online posts to Twitter and Facebook, among other issues.

Prosecutors plan to seek more than 10 years in prison for Fumo. His sentencing hearing is expected to begin July 13 and take at least several days or more.

A jury convicted Fumo of defrauding the state Senate, a charity and a museum of more than $3.5 million.

Co-defendant Ruth Arnao, a former aide convicted of 45 related counts, is joining Fumo in the appeal.

Both remain free on bail.

Take them all down if they are guilty. If you find 10 that are honest thats a good find. Once they are in for several years they become gulity of something for the most of them. Why because they go into it for themselves.
Lou Dobbs has a reporter saying (right now behind me) that our govt. is so corrupted by LOBBYIST, we the people are the losers.
Like Stevens just because his prosecutors were bad doesn't make him less guilty. He should be re-tried..
