What a laughable comment. Obviously attacking the terrorists, making them run, diminished their ability to attack again.

The naive part of the country thinks that Al Qaeda is no longer a threat, but never for once gives credit to those who fought that threat and reduced it.

YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

Either you agree that the Bush administration proactively addressed the threat or you think don't. Either you believe the threat still exists or you don't.

It seems to me that the left is less interested in 'winning' the war against those who would use terrorist methods against civilians than it is in debating it.

I'm sorry, but I won't allow the international community to make the US into another Israel. We have a right to target, attack, and kill those who would do us harm.

The left needs to get a grip on this.

Hopefully Obama getting intelligence reports daily might solve some of this.

Of course, the left here thinks that Obama getting intelligence reports is a bad thing....

You are putting forth a false dichotomy. Just because Bush was proactive doesn't necessarily mean the threat is diminished. I don't even know how you would have evidence to make that claim. Are the terrorists registered somewhere?
