A 5,000 subject study of Ivermectin treatment efficacy for Covid-19 has been suspended.

The first explanation for the so-called pause was difficulty in finding an adequate supply of the easily manufactured, generic Ivermectin. Typically drug trials secure an adequate supply of the medication before beginning the study. As the credibility of the supply difficulties excuse eroded a new story emerged to take its place courtesy of pharmaceutical giant Merck.

That's right they cut off Ivermectin trials prematurely but they are willing to look at other studies. But wait, there is another far more compelling motive for Merck to cancel the trials.

Multi billion dollar contract versus inexpensive generic, who cares if it doesn't work there are bonuses and stock options to think about.

This is EXACTLY what I have been saying about these low cost drugs like Ivermectin from the beginning of this ScamDemic. There are BILLIONs of dollars at stake here from bringing new drugs to market along with BILLIONs of dollars in the so-called "vaccines" to be made. It would all come crashing down if people knew the truth that inexpensive drugs already on the market, are very effective at treating Covid.

My wife's aunt and uncle, both in their 70's, contracted Covid last fall. Her Aunt recovered, but her uncle was put on a ventilator. I told her Aunt at the time to DEMAND he be given Ivermectin, but the doctors refused. Her Uncle ended up dying in mid January. I still believe that Ivermectin could have saved his life.

Again no intelligent answer from you, just like the Biden regime. The so-called Covid-19 vaccine is so ineffective it required a change to the definition of the term "vaccine". But let's pretend nobody will get sick if they are vaccinated.

Remember how the expense of monoclonal antibodies treatment was dismissed as too expensive compared to the vaccine our President still touts as completely effective? Yet now it's ok to abandon research into inexpensive treatment alternatives to Merck's pricey therapeutic.

This thread is how I found this forum. I'm a cattle & goat producer in Ohio. I typically give Ivermectin to my cattle in the fall & spring to kill worms & lice, goats are given it PRN.
Ivermectin was unavailable this fall and I had to switch to a different product. I checked multiple mail order animal drug outlets & my vet; none could get Ivermectin. With the WHO & CDC all screaming that humans should not use it, who is using it? The form I use is injectible, certainly not a form typically usable by humans.

If the supply of Ivermectin for humans also is in short supply, as indicated by the UK study, will we start seeing a surge of covid in some of India's states and in Japan?
