Tough laws don't really do any good if they are not enforced.

We already have all the tools to stop Domestic Terrorism, they just have to use them and communicate better, But that isn't a sexy headline now is it.

We already have ample laws and punishments for domestic terrorists. What we lack is enforcement. Which means politicians willing to lock people up for burning and looting stores, destroying statues, and the like.

Longer sentences mean nothing without enforcement.

Very often, when people use the (rather vague) term, "domestic terrorism," they are thinking specifically of the sort of thing that happened at the Capitol on January 6. (And that was, indeed, inexcusable.)

But seldom do they mean the actions of such groups as, oh, say, Antifa. And BLM.

Are you thinking of these also? (Or do you just include them--when prodded--as a mere afterthought?)

Oh I agree, BLM has done that on a national scale.

no I know the difference. there are protests that get out of hand. the bird sanctuary and the blm (bureau land mgmt.) protests and the antifa/blm (black lives matter protests are not domestic terrorism.

several abortion clinic bombers, shooting of R congressman at baseball game, Jan 6, the Okla. bombing, el paso walmart shooting, the unibomber bombings are domestic terrorism.

Lets cut to the chase. What the left is trying to do is, punish Republicans for doing anything they don't like, while forgiving the left for doing the same things.

This obviously creates a dilemma. They need to get specific about the details, while still focused only on the actions of the right.

This is going to be very interesting, especially since they are also talking about unity.

Democrat Senators will probably talk about unity while going through the spam impeachment too.

Wouldn't it be nice to have 95% of the media praise you while you talk out both sides of your ass?
