What if all the US overseas troops were eliminated and those same monies were used for universal healthcare, would you think the US president/congress that did that was a bastard?

I don't agree we need to get out of everywhere.

Some places our presence matters and some we do need to leave from sticking our noses where we don't belong.
I disagree we should just pull out of Germany. Or Korea for that matter. Or from protecting Israel (shield) but Afghanistan probably yes. South America or other American countries we should covertly protect but not let politicians mess with the basic governing unless a threat...
