What "common sense" laws are politicians rejecting?

And BTW, the NRA is simply an advocacy group that is working to ensure that one of the Amendments to the Constitution and a important element of the Bill of Rights, is NOT pushed aside by our government. If you disagree, that is fine. But I have to ask what other rights you are willing to concede to the government.
