I'll never forget the Facebook post I saw with a t-shirt that said "Trump: Finally a president with balls". It didn't say "balls", but instead had a picture of a dangling nutsack. Where on earth did they ever get the idea he's on the same plant as the word "tough"?
My guess is like a bitter ex that can't/won't stop visiting their former SO's Instagram page, he'll still get a lackey to sneak a few copies into the White House. He can't help himself.

Just recent examples. The WAPO motto is "democracy dies in darkness" but there is no demand to open up the Democrats so-called impeachment inquiry to the public. The NYT rewrites headlines when the Resistance insists they are not critical enough of Trump. But the real problem is not their pervasive political bias while posing as fact driven objective media, it's that Trump can't take any criticism.
If Trump is due any criticism for this action it's that he didn't take it sooner. The NYT and Jeff Bezos vanity newspaper have been smearing him since he announced his candidacy.
Democrats and their media toadies are fond of complaining that Trump supporters blindly support his every action but now they chortle that the Resistance rages will only lose a single subscription each.
