Can you tell us ONE single thing Obama did that helped the economy?

Fact is, it was the slowest recovery ever, due to Obama's taxes and over regulation.

Remember, the recession was over a couple months after Obama took office.

The feds met 32 times and did not raise interest rates because the economy was too fragile. One month after Trump was elected they started raising interest rates because they knew Trump would cut taxes and regulations, and things would get better.

Man, many years ago, I wrote an analogy that went a little something like this...

A Republican says he will try to swim across the pool and back within one minute...

He jumps into the pool, arms flailing and legs kicking...He pushes himself to the limits...He finally makes his way back to the finish and touches the side...

...in 1 minute 14 seconds...

The Democrat laughs at him and yells, "Loser!!!!...You can even reach your own goals!!!"

Then the Democrat makes his prediction..."I will try to swim across the pool and back within THREE minutes!!…

He slowly steps into the pool, gently pushes himself, and meanderingly doggy-paddles his way to the edge of the pool and turns around...He stops to brush his hair back and rub his eyes, then leisurely doggy-paddles his way to the finish...

He completes his task in 2 minutes 46 seconds...

"See?!?!", the Democrat yells..."I'm such a winner!!!!!"...

That analogy fits so well with this one sentence shown...

Notice that Trump pushes the envelope with a lofty 3% prediction, which would be higher than any yearly GDP in the last decade...He's off by the most miniscule percent, but Trump FAILED (exact article word)…

But three years earlier, when Obama made no push of the envelope or predictions whatsoever, the very same GDP growth of 2.9% was something Obama ENJOYED (exact article word)…

Perfect analogy Redd.

The evidence that they are wrong is that as many of those regulations have been rescinded or relaxed, almost none of the announced closings have been cancelled.

Are you familiar with the concept of supply and demand? Natural gas production is up because demand has increased and the price has gone up. There haven’t been any material regulatory changes that would lead to materially increased production.
Electric utilities are a regulated monopoly where continuity of service is paramount. It takes years and millions of dollars to build a new generating station, reconfigure transmission facilities or build new ones, and decommission the old plant. In addition there is an extensive and expensive permitting process with a high likelihood of lawsuits involved.

Having taken the decision and committed the investment to swap out coal fired generation for natural gas utilities are understandably reluctant to abandon the projects. The next Democrat administration will no doubt resume the war on coal with an EPA empowered to act as a conquering Roman army imposing regulations designed to shutter coal fired plants and boost the cost of electricity to make so-called green energy appear competitive. Besides, who wants to go back to their utility commission to boost rates to recover the dead money from the decision to abandon the new gas fired plant under construction?

Yes, the demand for natural gas has increased. However, you incorrectly claimed the supply hadn't. No evidence is presented to show what is driving the demand increase just bombast.
