That sounds very odd. Something is either alive or dead. If you mean "dying", then, once an animal is born or hatched, it begins the process of dying.

I am going to meditate on that one, though--"most animals are alive before they die".

I don't think halal allows stunning. They let the animals bleed out before they kill it. It needs to be bled and still alive for the blessing before it is killed.

Kosher requires the separation of meat and milk product. "The calf shall not be bathed in the milk of it's mother." When did Pizza Hut get demands from the Jewish community to stop putting pork and cheese together on a pizza? Did I miss those violent demonstrations?

If your religious beliefs say you cannot eat that which is not Kosher , parve or Halal, then don't eat it. It is not up to the vendor any more than it is up to the Government, to meet a citizen's special dietary needs. This particularly in the case of religious belief. We cannot separate government and church except in the case of Christians and Jews.

OF course the Hajib in Congress gets an exception from the no hat or head dress rule but that's different right???

On the one hand they are told, if you are Muslim, speak only for the Muslim people. If you are not of Islam,then do not speak negatively about the Muslim people as it is racist to do so. But as a Muslim one can take KFC to task for excluding them?

I am surprised they chose KFC over Chick-F-le'. Perhaps attacking the obviously Christian based chain was too obvious a double standard. I suspect they suspect most Americans are too dumb to notice, or care. But their strategy errored on the side of caution.

If a franchise wanted to include Halal certified food or Kosher food in their menu, that doesn't exclude anyone. That just offers more choice to a potential customer base. Restuarants all over where I've lived and grown up advertised fish around Lent, or that they can eat there and still be observant of Lent during that time of year, and nobody ever raised a stink about Catholics.

And I'll point out again, KFCs and other fast food places in other countries already have locations that are certified halal. Kosher foods and restaurants already exist.

You guys are making it into a far, far bigger deal than it is. Maybe stay off the far-right nutball websites.

This has not a thing todo with right wing or lefty politics. Or RACISM. It has to do with knowledge of the subject. You seem to be absent that knowledge.

None of those foreign chains have Kosher Philly Cheese steak burgers.
A kitchen is either Kosher or it is not
There can be no mixture of Kosher and non Kosher in the kitchen.
I believe it is the same with Halal. But Kashrut, meat and milk together, is not practiced.

If you have ever been in an orthodox Jewish home you would see they often have two kitchens.

So,,, Pizza Hut can provide a "kosher Pickle' but it cannot provide a "Kosher" sandwich.

And since they offer pork products, the kitchen cannot be certified Kosher or Halal.
