It's called "evil" and it exists. Removing it from our society is virtually impossible. But we can remove it's host/perpetrators. In this case it should be done in a way that is permanent. having compassion for the perpetrator of evil means having no compassion for it's victims.

Perhaps. But frankly there is no rehabilitation form this kind of evil. Only cross pollination. Why then prison? Put him down like the rabid dog that he is.

I didn't say there would be rehabilitation.

Even with the death penalty, one spends a little time in prison beforehand. I'm sure his fellow inmates could, and likely would, make his life entertaining.
