This is the constant mantra of the left: "Immigration" (which it conveniently confuses with
an illegal invasion) "benefits" our country.
As for "diversity," that is just a synonym for
multiculturalism--which is antithetical to
assimilation (upon which our country was actually built).

How can you say that?
When a city declares itself a "sanctuary city" (or when a state declares itself a "sanctuary state"), it is, indeed, declaring that its own law is to be counted above federal law.
