I used to work at a womens' shelter and there was a white woman there who's white boyfriend beat her and burned her hair with lighter fluid which is said to prevent it growing back. all I know is she wore wigs and had been transferred in from some other state due to death threats.

People have said not to just dismiss the right as stupid, as it's polarizing and you won't get through to them that way, etc. But it's hard to imagine that someone with even average intelligence could be so lacking in self-awareness as they are.

No woman should ever have to undergo this type of abuse. But, yes, a pakistani woman. It is a valid point because abuse of women is an accepted part of the culture. If done here it is a heinous crime and the person committing it would be rejected across society. Also, every part of law enforcement would be engaged in catching and punishing the perpetrators. A locked door wouldn't have stopped any american LEO's.

What is accepted in Muslim culture in regards to the treatment of women is the subject. It is widespread, and ACCEPTED AS NORMAL.

The fact that some of the Liberal group feel that the Muslim culture is OK, and the rest of the US population are scum for not agreeing, or even actively disliking Muslim culture and therefore are racist and bigots.

The fact that some of the Feminist groups are in support of the Muslim religion and culture, belies their very beliefs that women are equal to men in all things. Contradictions of the extreme variety.

Now, on the subject on 'White Christian Men beating their wives', not only is this not accepted socially, it is ILLEGAL and usually the perpetrator is subject to ostracism and jail.
