And once it gets through TN, We need to drag a few more States along for the ride:

Quote:

States and territories are allowed to individually opt out of observing Daylight Saving Time. In 2019, Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands are the only U.S. states and territories that do not observe Daylight Saving Time.Mar 9, 2019

I forget which is which, does it mean that it will be light earlier in the morning? I'm an early bird, so I will like that.

I hope this bill passes, and that this catches on nationally. It's bad enough that days get shorter after the summer equinox, and moving the clocks back several months later makes it even worse. I prefer it to be light later in the day. This changing the time twice a year also messes with people's sleep schedules and there's no good reason to keep doing it. :mad

I don't understand how permanently resetting the clocks forward is any different than just staying on Standard Time.

I hate the time change twice a year. Isn't it enough that our lives ae ruled by the clock as it is? Why do we punish ourselves every year?
None of my animals understand the time change.
Back when I was farming it made no sense whatsoever.

In all honesty, I don't care which way they go, just pick one and stick to it!!

Our dogs don't understand why we change their feeding time twice a year.

I was born with a pronounced circadian rhythm. I don't own a watch, yet can usually tell you what time it is within ten minutes. The time change drives me nuts.

I can't do that, but I can wake myself up at a predetermined time.
