Even though I, personally, agree with this statement, it's NOT journalism...

...so I did some research and see an article by the local CBS affiliate...

Tennessee man flips off, pulls gun on couple wearing MAGA hats in Kentucky Sam's Club

First, I don't like the idea that this article shows Phillips' side of the story, but not the couple who had the gun pointed at them...

Second, the MAGA hats might have been the INITIAL reason for the argument, but the husband escalated it by confronting Phillips, who "flipped him back off and put his hands in his face according to police"...Had he not done so, it would've been a "flip off" due to the MAGA hats and that's it...Life goes on...

...but the first sentence appears wrong...Phillips did NOT pulled a gun because they were wearing MAGA hats...He pulled a gun because the husband wearing the MAGA hat confronted Phillips after being flipped off...

Phillips should still be arrested for pulling the gun...I'm just pointing out the lack of clarity in the reporting...

I find it hard to believe the MAGA couple would follow them out to harass them more knowing he was a crazy militant liberal with a gun, and probably nothing to lose.

I usually agree with you, but here I have to disagree. Stupidity doesn't land on one political side or the other. People don't always think clearly when they are angry.

There are usually three sides to a story: theirs, theirs and the truth.

In my book, any imbecile who carries a firearm and feels he is in the right to flip somebody off because he feels "triggered" (I wish the Snowflake generation had not fallen in love with that word) should have the firearm shoved up his butt by the target.

So the couple in the MAGA hats are brave enough to wear them in public and that's OK. But bravely confronting an armed man and getting the police to come is Foolish????? No, it is bravery. Stand firm unless the idiot pulls a gun?

And what happens the next time Mr. Pierce gets mad and brandishes?????? Maybe he shoots?


My hat is off to these people who nailed this guy. It's time the idiots on the left, who historically pull this crap without fear of consequences, had to face those consequences.
