There should be no discrimination or priority given to one type of candidate over another. The only factors that should be considered are the financial ability to support the child, and stability of the adopter(s).

I don't care if it is a single person, hetero or gay, black or white or green with purple stripes, if they can provide a solid, loving home for a child, that is ALL that should matter.

I don't agree. There's no evidence that a child raised by any number of possible parent groups do better or worse than any other group. What matters is a stable caring environment.

That's a good point too. I can see how older children would have a harder time getting picked.
