Dammit Trump!!!!!

Russian bombers buzz North American coastline

A pair of Russian supersonic, nuclear-capable bombers buzzed North America Saturday, forcing American and Canadian fighter jets to scramble and intercept them, the U.S. military said.

The two Russian Tu-160 Blackjack bombers “remained in international airspace,” but were escorted by two U.S. Air Force F-22 fighter jets and two Canadian CF-18 jets, according to a statement from the North American Aerospace Defense Command, better known as NORAD.

The U.S. jets flew from an Air Force base in Alaska.

The Russian bomber flight near North America — the first known flight this year — coincides with the visit of NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to Washington to meet Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, acting Defense Secretary Pat Shanahan and national security adviser John Bolton.

President Trump has mulled pulling the United States out of NATO, according to senior administration officials.

U.S. reconnaissance aircraft routinely fly off the coast of Russia and Russian-occupied Crimea, staying just outside the 12-nautical-mile terroritorial limit.

In 2017, U.S. nuclear-capable bombers flew over the Baltic Sea and were intercepted by Russian fighter jets.

And in 2018. a similar scenario played out as Russian bombers escorted by fighter jets flew near Alaska on Sept. 11 before the U.S. intercepted them with F-22s.

In early December, a pair of Russian Tu-160 Blackjack bombers flew to Venezuela from Russia in a sign of support for embattled President Nicholas Maduro.

put it perspective please...

July Fourth message not the first from Russian bombers
July 23, 2015
Washington (CNN)"Good morning, American pilots. We are here to greet you on your Fourth of July Independence Day."
That was the message two Russian bombers delivered while flying within tens of miles of the California coast this month to the U.S. fighter jets that intercepted them, according to the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
The greeting may have been unusual, but the close encounter was not. Russian military planes have been encountered near U.S. airspace a number of times before.
On June 4, 2014, U.S. fighter jets intercepted Russian bombers off Alaska and California following a string of aerial encounters over the Pacific.
According to U.S. defense officials, four long-range Russian Tu-95 Bear-H bombers, accompanied by an aerial refueling tanker, flew into the U.S. Air Defense Identification Zone, an area extending 200 miles from the North American coast, off Alaska, where they were intercepted by U.S. F-22 fighter jets.
Two of the Russian bombers peeled off and headed west, while the other two flew south and were identified by U.S. F-15 fighters within 50 miles of the California coast.
Capt. Jeff Davis, a spokesman for the North American Aerospace Defense Command, said at the time that it was the first time American jets had intercepted Russian military aircraft off California since 2012 -- an encounter that also took place on July Fourth.
Davis said the Russian planes were entirely within their rights, and it was a professional encounter on both sides. He said in 2014 that Russian flights into the air defense zone are intercepted about 10 times a year.

I'm trying very hard to be concerned with that shlt. One ass hole holds a box of matches, and the other ass hole holds ten boxes of matches. And the two ass holes are standing in a room filled with gasoline up to their knees. Everybody else on the planet is in that room. Now, people, tell me who is going to give a shlt which of the two morons drops a lighted match first?

nobody said anything about trump
yes Obama dealt with them differently. they've been getting bolder since bush (aka Cheney) left office. a president harangued by the opposition party to the point of embarrassment, congress R's questioning his every move. then a president who rarely listens to advisers although - get this- he's inept at politics.

what could go wrong?

has trump condemned the act yet?
