There exist people who have the undying belief that there should be regulations for wiping one's ass.

To me, gun control means a steady hand and an eagle eye.

It is already unlawful to wantonly use any weapon against innocent people. Normal people do not even need to be reminded of that. Dumbasses who cannot tell their ass from a hole in the ground cannot be helped by a million or more regulations.

Read a funny one the other day; "gun control is only buying one when you want to buy them all".

Please show us in the Constitution where regulations are a must for any of your other Constitutional rights.
That influx to Nevada is one of the reasons I'm building a house in Utah.

Texas was always Democrat till the reagan revolution and a bunch of homeless yankee transplants came down to look for jobs. I guess they fell for the fear tactics. I know I did. But once burned twice shy-why I didn't vote for Trump.

A well-regulated militia...
plus the SC has said their ruling on the 2nd amendment doesn't mean guns cannot be regulated.

"Regulated" in those times meant something along the lines of being finely tuned, like a chronometer would be. The word had nothing to do with people following certain rules regarding arms.

And in the case of a civilian militia being needed to secure freedom, it is impossible to have one that is unarmed and unpracticed and still capable of doing its duty. But no further explanation is needed for those gifted with common sense.

Your reference does not cut it with thinking people. Maybe a glass of prune juice could clear things up a bit?

As Manitou already eluded too, "A well Regulated Milita...". The term "regulated" meant to keep and maintain in good working order.

You have just demonstrated why we need good textualists in our courts as opposed to those that see themselves as social justice warriors. The Constitution was written in the vernacular of it's time and should be taken in the context of that time as to discern the intent of the framers.

What you just did with the text of the 2nd Amendment, was exactly what judges that interpret the language of the Constitution using today's meaning of those words.
