But I did get the impression that you meant to imply that this was typical of most Trump supporters. Perhaps not all. But most. If that is not what you intended, then please accept my apologies. But let me just say that it is, I believe, only a rather small percentage of Trump supporters who are (essentially) brain-dead; and who will, therefore, eagerly embrace anything and everything the man says or does, uncritically. It is probably about the same percentage who would have eagerly embraced anything Barack Obama said or did, without thinking.

![]() No, Donald Trump is simply not ideological. (I say that rather unhappily, as I am a conservative; and conservatism is an ideology--as is liberalism, also.)
I will agree that Donald Trump is a narcissist--which is not a very endearing quality; yet it is one that is shared with most former presidents. (And I do like most of the man's policies.)

![]() OK this is kind of Scary.
Lindsey Graham and i agree on a foreign policy issue. AND he's actually given more ammo to the view against the Saudi than I was aware of. He makes it clear that there is not even a a good PRACTICAL or "real politix" reason to support the Saudis. Far less sense they've done this. Fox News Graham: Saudis would 'be 'speaking Farsi in about a week' without US support against Iranthat's just the headline. Basically he's saying that the Saudis are NOT a wall against Iran. that the US is what keeps Iran in check , the Saudis are not Protecting Us we are Protecting THEM!! South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham told Fox News on Sunday that Saudi Arabia's military "can't fight out of a paper bag" when confronted with Mideast challenges including Iran, and insisted that the U.S. has the necessary leverage to punish the Saudi leadership for its apparent role in the murder of dissident writer Jamal Khashoggi. ![]() I agree with Lindsey Graham on a foreign policy issue. Mark it down. but even in the above there's a quote that shows why I'm so often opposed to Graham. "...I think by hooking up with him we hurt our ability to govern the region...." So when exactly were we elected to "govern the region"? His imperialism is showing here. It's ASSUMED that we should be governing or controlling the region. so his reasons... possibly his BASE... for the opposing the CURRENT Saudi leader has to more with "governing the region" than the Saudi's current and past long list of wrongs, or the practical facts that apparently we really Don't need their oil (go figure) or their "protection" from the monster Iran.
