Its funny that Hillary Clinton took money from Saudi Arabia and other countries with horrendous human rights records and it was brushed off or downplayed by the left. I am sure some leftist will use the But Hillary isn't president excuse. However that's not the point. The point is the left was fine with her taking money from these countries. So we know the only reason Trump is getting any grief is due to partisan politics and nothing more.

The Clinton Foundation has accepted tens of millions of dollars from countries that the State Department — before, during and after Mrs. Clinton’s time as secretary — criticized for their records on sex discrimination and other human-rights issues. The countries include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Brunei and Algeria.

Saudi Arabia has been a particularly generous benefactor. The kingdom gave between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation. (Donations are typically reported in broad ranges, not specific amounts.) At least $1 million more was donated by Friends of Saudi Arabia, which was co-founded by a Saudi prince.

at a time when Trump has tried to limit free speech in this country, he takes up for a torturer.
like saying if Russia took a bone saw to a Washington times or blaze journalist,

"oh well Russia kills Jews and homosexuals so what's the problem"

your excusing him for thinking about his own pocketbook ahead of any American interest is noted.

I am pointing out that most of you all didn't give two ****s when the Saudis were killing other innocent people. But now because the victim is a journalist instead of regular person you all scream bloody murder like you give a ****. When in reality you don't.

Yes I really do. Have you not heard of Charlie Hebdo, Thomas Paine, how about John Dickinson ?
journalists are the most important champions of democracy there are.

1.None of those people or satire publications were killed by the Saudis.

2.Charlie Hebdo are not journalists. They are the Mad Magazine of Europe. It is a left wing anti-religious satirical rag. Trying to call them journalists is like trying to call McDonalds a 5 star luxury restaurant.

3.Journalists are no more important than average citizens.

So bottom line is, money trumps morals.
Power and U.S. geo-strategic political position is more important than principals.
Same as it ever was....
U.S. Foreign policies is only conveniently dressed in pro-democratic and "moral" clothing but is ALWAYS acting in ways that promote our interest in Money, Power and world domination.
Trump is one of the few "leaders" that has come out and said/shown it so clearly.
The U.S. has for the past 100+ years always been PERFECTLY FINE with various bloody dictators, as long as the Money/Resources are right.
Or if they are the enemy of the our enemy.
truth, morals, justice pffsst, fagitabout it...

But it is amazing to watch people on the right excuse and agree with Trump here.
I wonder if it had been an American military officer named Smith who was dismembered by the Saudi King, how long would it take for Trump Supporters to rationalize Trumps actions. ... if ever.

Or If it had been Kim Jong Un of North Korea that had Dismembered an American reporter. if the response would be so passive and supportive.
I suspect there might be Carriers on the way to the NK and many Trump supporters would be cheering and telling us what a STRONGMAN leader Trump is and how that hangins' to good for the wicked dictator. "who starves his own people".

I'm not for Knee Jerk politics and I don't think every action, even this assassination, is an act of war.
But something substantial should be done against the kingdom for this and other crimes going back to 9/11.
in comparison Russia has sanctions on them today! But they haven't even DONE anything AT ALL to merit them.

I don't condone the Saudi ass kissing done by Trump and other presidents. But until something better gets going, this is all we have. What do you propose?
