Default Kavanaugh protester had kids confront GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy, but here’s how he turned

It takes a special sort of low-life to use your kids as political props.

Cassidy's response to the kids was epic.

Kavanaugh protester had kids confront GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy, but here’s how he turned the tables

An anti-Brett Kavanaugh protester involved her children when she confronted Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) on Capitol Hill this week, but he ended up turning the tables.

“Senator Cassidy, can you please apologize to my children for ruining their futures?” the protester called out to Cassidy in a video posted on social media.

She was apparently talking about Kavnaugh’s appointment as a Supreme Court associate justice amid uncorroborated allegations of sexual misconduct. President Donald Trump nominated Kavanaugh and he was confirmed last week with a 50-48 vote by the Senate. Cassidy was one of the senators who voted “yes.”

How did Cassidy respond?
“Hey, guess what?” Cassidy politely said to two young children in a hallway of the Hart Senate Office Building. “…I know your parents are using you as tools. But if in the future somebody makes an allegation against you and there’s no proof for it, you’ll be OK.”

Another protester brought racial inequality into the debate.

“What about black men, if you’re going to use that analogy?” the nearby protester said.

The protester, Triana Arnold James, told Fox News on Friday that she opposes Kavanaugh’s confirmation and is an advocate for female veterans who are victims of sexual trauma.

“Why is it that [Kavanaugh] gets the benefit of the doubt, and he gets the presumption of innocence, but black men get the presumption of guilt?” James said. “If it applies for one, it should apply for all. It should be across the board.”

James also told the news outlet she believes Cassidy supported Kavanaugh for partisan reasons.

“Republicans need to take a lesson from this and be more attentive, and apply the law, and represent all people, and not just Republicans,” she told the news outlet.

What about the children?
The Daily Caller reported that Alethea Torrellas Shapiro is the protester who brought her children to confront Cassidy.

She told Cassidy he should be ashamed of himself for ruining her daughter’s lives.

Through a series of social media posts, Shapiro documented her efforts to protest Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.

The Daily Caller took screenshots of posts, which were later deleted.

“I’m at the back of scotus [sic] waiting for Kavanaugh with my kids and a bunch of other protesters does anyone know if he’s inside yet?” Shaprio reportedly wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Shapiro said she was going to bring her children to “birddog” the Senate hallways and protest the “horrible atrocious men,” according to published reports.

A lot of leftist won't care about that. They think we should take the word of the accuser with no proof and presume the accused is guilty. Which is why a lot of them are trying to use the "But it ain't a criminal trial" claim in order to try to treat Kavanaugh as though he is guilty.
