Ms Mitchell, while asking the tough questions necessary to determine if Dr Ford was telling the truth in her allegations was professional and not political in her questioning. Dr Ford, in spite of her own fear of giving public testimony about something so personal and embarrassing in her life that she'd remained almost completely silent for decades, performed superbly under the intense and detailed questioning of a highly experienced prosecutor.

Never any hesitation to try and answer the questions honestly and fully Dr Ford's testimony seemed to convinced Ms Mitchell that Dr Ford was telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth to the best of her recollection of the events as they happened. I didn't hear even one BS question from Ms Mitchell and having watched other Senate committee hearings the Republicans are notorious for asking BS questions of a witness.

I commend both Ms Mitchell for her professionalism in asking all the right questions and for Dr Ford in providing honest and truthful answers to those questions.
Wow, you actually posted something that I can agree with... for the most part.

As to your assertions about Republicans asking BS questions, I refer you to the Dem's using their time to probe into the musings of a 16 yr old high school students yearbook entries in regards to flatulence.

And in the end, Ms Mitchell explicitly declared that Ms Ford's claims would never hold up in a court of law.

And they should never hold up in the court of public opinion either, but they will.

News media driven by a news media more driven by opinion than fact.

A major political party in this country more driven by hatred and the desire to destroy the legitimate processes than anything else.

Despite a horrible format for getting at the truth Ms. Mitchell's questions exposed the completely lack credibility of Blasey Ford's accusations. Under questioning she stated Feinstein's office selected her attorney. She admitted she didn't know who paid for her polygraph. Both actions show the blatant orchestration by partisan Democrats, Blaisy Ford wanted to keep the accusations confidential.

Using an expanded map of the area where the alleged incident occurred Mitchell demonstrated how unlikely it was Dr Ford could have walked from the country club to any of the homes of the people she claims were at the party. At the time she was too young to drive but she claims to be unable to recall who drove her. Democrats will repeat the excuse that trauma survivors cannot remember details but no memory of location, date, year or anyone corroborating her story as well as her contradictory stories about who was present have reduced Democrats to a gang of thugs chanting we believe survivors in unison.
