And it's interesting, though it may have changed by now, when this was discussed a while back on another thread here, I posted a link to the BLM (the real one) that not anywhere on the site that I could find (and I did spend a good amount of time looking) that mentioned or discussed helping black youth to find a way to stop the BoB crime. They ONLY discussed crimes committed unto them by other races.

While the other website that (was it Wally?) that was posted DID discuss helping youths and addressing BoB crime, but the last event they had listed had been years prior... which unfortunately tells me they had been particularly unsuccessful.

My question being, how much of their personal time, energy, and yes, money, do these NFL players (and other assorted people) donate to helping the Black people? Do they walk the walk? Or is 'taking a knee' just a symbolic gesture with no meat?

And that's the point. They aren't protesting to make a difference, they are protesting to bring attention to themselves. If they were serious about these issues, they would invest their time and money into these communities and work to set examples of how to live within society. Unfortunately, some/most of those that are making the most noise, are probably living lifestyles that are in conflict with those values.

What real one? I don't see any group in America that singles out certain races or ethnic or national groups positively or negatively, as anything worth looking at.

(keen way to get the day off from school )
I don't know in what Bizarro world this happened in.

uniformed officers
and you already know that
indiscriminate killing of blacks has gone on for centuries and still is going on.
even if it was some reason trivial to me, I hope I would have the merit to stand up for his taking a knee to protest something that obviously means something to a third of our country.

Let me see. Perhaps your town was not ahead of its time in maturity and smarts.

Never mind. I have a headache already trying to decode the rest.

We were not discussing Trump. You have a sick fixation about the man.

So, what NFL players who have kneeled in protest, have actually done something to help black kids at risk? Please be specific with links.
