TDS strikes again!

Mass. mayor vows to never drink Sam Adams beer again — because chairman thanked Trump for tax cuts

Quote:
If President Donald Trump ever wants to have a friendly chat over a beer — Barack Obama style — with the mayor of Somerville, Massachusetts, the president probably should take Sam Adams off the menu.

Not that Joseph Curtatone would come anyway.

Curtatone indicated as much Sunday, vowing to never drink Sam Adams beer again after he found out Jim Koch — the Boston Beer Company’s founder and chairman — thanked Trump for the tax cuts.

Koch was one of 13 corporate executives who met with the president at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf resort Aug. 7, Boston.com reported — and he told Trump tax cuts help U.S. breweries compete.

“We were paying 38 percent taxes and competing against people who were paying 20,” Koch said, according to a White House transcript. “And now we have a level playing field, and we’re going to kick their ass.”

Sam Adams' Beer is about the only thing coming out of MA worth a sh!t. And it puts tax money in the Mayor's salary.

I doubt Koch has any worries about sales dropping. He cannot make enough of his brew to go around as it is. Sam Adam's is my favorite domestic beer. I'll be happy to drink the Mayor's share.

Saw an interview with filmmaker Spike Lee who labeled Trump a racist. Then, like the mayor proclaimed he wouldn't meet with the President. Then he went the mayor one better in Trump hate, stating Trump wasn't his President. How cute.

This is what passes for open minded thought on the Left. Imagine the uproar if officer Crowley had declined Obama's invitation to the beer summit. He accepted the invitation to essetially a face saving gesture for Obama after the President had belittled him before a joint session of Congress. But saying anything complimentary to Trump even if it might mean more jobs in the mayor's town earns an expression of vile hatred.
