Yeah, I think most people here are in a hurry to make a point, myself included.
But that's OK, Redd doesn't employ grammar and spelling police.

If he did, I would have been banned long ago.

Well no what you actually did (and as your post show) was skip my first replies to you, take a reply I made to another poster (Shiva) and supply the definition of obstruction of justice without any ties to how Trump was supposed to have committed it. Then you asked me if I would apologize for calling someone clueless. Never mind that I had not called anyone clueless and the last time I did so was weeks before you joined. Oppps.

So how do you "think" you where mocking me by asking me to "apologize" for something that had noting to do with this thread or you and happened before you joined PW? Because your reply with the definition of obstruction of justice lacked substance context and much thought or thoughtfulness. As I said, bad writing and even worse acting. But par for the course for a sock puppet.

In looking through your latest post I see you seem to be making a conentrated effort to rehab your initial character notes. You know, leaving off insulting other posters lack of college education, etc? Probably best stick to that reworking I'd say. Might help sell it a bit more.

This you have used to make a long winded ad hominem. Probably because you too supported Trump, for no stated reason (though I could speculate, based on watching, listening and reading comments of Trump supporters).
"ad hominems" is his specialty.

We have a Congress coward by the Bully POTUS, our democracy is under attack by a foreign nation ; President Trump continues his bellicose rhetoric against our foe in Iran, N. Korea is remains a threat and Trump continues to mislead the public.

What's a conservative to do?
The Congress isn't cowed by President Trump. Just the Republicans that control both the House and Senate are cowed by Trump. Worse still is that Rep. Devin Nunes, in a private fund raiser is recorded documenting that the Trump campaign was criminally conspiring with the Russians and that only by holding a majority after the November elections will Republicans be able to prevent Trump for being held accountable for his possible criminal acts (i.e. obstruct justice).

TRMS Exclusive: Devin Nunes speaks candidly at fundraiser | MSNBC

Let's start with Nunes establishing the criminal act that he does by analogy.
Quote:
REP. NUNES (R-CA): “Now if somebody thinks that my campaign or Cathy’s campaign is colluding with the Chinese, or you name the country, hey, could happen, it would be a very bad thing if Cathy was getting secrets from the Portuguese, let’s say, just because I’m Portuguese, my family was. So Cathy was getting secret information from the Portuguese. You know, may or may not be unusual. But ultimately let’s say the Portuguese came and brought her some stolen emails. And she decided to release those. Okay, now we have a problem, right? Because somebody stole the emails, gave ‘em to Cathy, Cathy released ‘em. Well, if that’s the case, then that’s criminal.”
If to release stolen emails obtained from a foreign government is criminal, which is what Nunes claims, then going to a meeting with people representing that foreign government to obtain those emails is the "conspiracy to commit an illegal act." We know for a fact that the June 9, 2016 meeting at Trump Tower by Manafort, Kushner, and Trump Jr. with the Russians was about them obtaining access to stolen DNC/Clinton Campaign emails.

We also know that the Trump campaign knew these emails were stolen in advance because George Papadopoulos had informed the Trump campaign in April after he'd met with an Russian intermediary that told him about the emails. Donald Trump Jr had even expressed his hope that the meeting was about the hacked emails in discussing the meeting before hand when he said, "I hope it's what I think it is."

Was Donald Trump knowledgeable about the meeting in advance. Common sense tells us that the top three people of the Trump campaign don't go to a meeting of this magnitude without discussing it with the "Donald" in advance and getting his approval. But even if Trump didn't know about it before hand he certainly did after the fact and he tried to cover it up. The cover-up would make Trump Sr. a "co-conspirator after the fact" which is also a criminal offense.

Strangely Donald Trump Sr., Donald Trump Jr., and Jared Kushner continue to say that "nothing came of the meeting" but on July 22, 2016 the Russian controlled DCLeaks, that was set-up the day before the Trump Tower meeting and began notifying the press in late June about the upcoming release, began releasing the emails making them available for the use of the Trump Campaign. "Nothing came of the meeting" except the Russians provided the hacked emails that the Trump Campaign went to obtain at the Trump Tower meeting.

Ironically the Russians withheld about half of the emails once tens of thousands had been released. The new strategy was to lie about the contents of the emails to them even more damaging to the Trump Campaign.

Nunes established the criminal conspiracy of the Trump campaign in his short statement about what is criminal with obtaining or soliciting to obtain unlawfully obtained information from a foreign government that actually applies regardless of who the source is. If the Mafia obtained the emails and Trump campaign officials met with the Mafia about obtaining the emails it would still be the criminal act of conspiracy.

Nunes also makes it clear that the Republicans must continue to control the House to prevent Donald Trump from being held accountable for his involvement.
Quote:
If Sessions won’t unrecuse and Mueller won’t clear the president, we’re the only ones. Which is really the danger. That’s why I keep, and thank you for saying it by the way, I mean we have to keep all these seats. We have to keep the majority. If we do not keep the majority, all of this goes away.”
There is no such thing as a person being able to "unrecuse" themselves in the legal world. The basis for recusal is the involvement of the person in the situation under review and you can't make that history simply disappear. You can violate your recusal, which is what Representative Nunes did when he first recused himself from his Chairmanship of the House Intelligence Committee because he was coordinating his committee work with the Trump administration that the Intelligence Committee was investigating, but you cannot removed the historical basis that requires recusal.

Robert Mueller is not going to "clear" Donald Trump of anything. Federal prosecutor's don't clear people of criminal offenses. All federal prosecutors do is determine of they have grounds for prosecution or not. The decision to not prosecute doesn't mean the person is innocent of any criminal act. It only means that the prosecutor doesn't have the evidence to prosecute the person for a criminal act.

In this case, because it relates to a sitting president, Robert Mueller and the Department of Justice aren't even going to seek a criminal indictment. All that Mueller will release is a report on Donald Trump and that report does not have to meet the standard of evidence required for a criminal prosecution. For example Mueller can include information that's third party "hearsay" testimony that would be inadmissible in a court of law.

This gets real interesting because of what Mueller can include in a Report that's not a criminal indictment.

Mueller could, for example, include the "Pee Tape" information on Donald Trump that first appeared in the Steele Dossier. Since Steele provided this intelligence other foreign intelligence agencies have collaborated Steele's information by providing their own intelligence that Putin (Russia) not only has audio/video tape of Trump's stay in Moscow but also other audio/video tapes of Trump in St. Petersburg as well. All of this is "third party hearsay" but in the intelligence world that's often all you have with many sources all saying the same thing. An Putin didn't deny having video tapes of Trump when asked in Helsinki. All Putin said was that he wasn't aware of the fact that Trump was in Moscow that weekend but Russian intelligence was certainly aware of Trump being there. Adding to that is the fact that Trump's own body guard stated that the Russians had offered Trump prostitutes for that evening and that Trump was alone in his own room with plenty of time to summon those prostitutes.

Not admissible testimony overall but certainly very good intelligence that is collaborated from several sources.

This is the kind of stuff members of the House would want to know for impeachment and that the Senate would want to know for removal from office.

But according to Nunes the Republicans must maintain control of the House because if they don't then they can't block impeachment of Trump and if 34 Republicans don't vote Party Line then Trump could very well be removed from office and prosecuted for his criminal actions. The Republicans must obstruct justice to protect Trump and that's exactly what Nunes has been doing in the House.

The final irony is that even if Republicans manage to prevent Trump from being impeached and removed from office they can't prevent him from being prosecuted after he leaves office. The Department of Justice will just sit on the evidence until Trump leaves office and then the indictments will come.

How embarrassing will it be for Republicans if they politically block Trump from being removed from office for conspiring with the Russians if he's convicted of that conspiracy and sent to prison immediately after leaving office. The Republican Party will justifiable be relabeled as the Party of Crime and Republicans will have a very hard time ever being elected to any government office.

Let's try this again:
Well yes we all know from past post of yours that you are still clinging like an ant on a log in a whirlpool to your "treason" argument even though you know that dog don't hunt.

So..........which campaign law was it that all the conspirators were trying to violate? Because the fact that you and others like to imagine what "can/could" be construed as obstruction and illegal activity, just not with any focus upon the Clinton campaign? Kinda undermines you. Not that you have a clue.

Meanwhile your post always come across like the soon to be published "100 Newspapers" against Trump.

More than 100 US newspapers plan editorials decrying Trump media attacks
https://www.theguardian.com/media/20...-media-attacks

Problem is that nobody in 2018 bothers with "editorials" anymore (much like newspapers) because who cares? And they have put their editorial bilge behind pay walls. Nobody is going to pay in 2018 to read editorial bilge anymore. For example your editorial bilge is free and nobody bothers to read it anymore either. Plus you lack the intestinal fortitude to actually defend much less engage on any subject matter you seep weep and outgas like a bilge pump about.

The above is why your troll whore act never gets any respect and never scores you any points. It's all too much for you to grasp as it passes over your head.
