I know you hate to hear good news like this about our economy Salty but .............

NOPE, it's NOT wrong, it's right

ALSO from YOUR link which, of course, you neglected to copy/paste. Typical.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he struck a deal with European Union officials to avoid a full-blown trade war, causing stocks to soar.

The EU will import more American soybeans and natural gas, adjust regulations to help medical devices be traded more easily, and both sides will decrease industrial tariffs.

The EU had threatened to impose retaliatory tariffs on $20 billion of US goods if the talks failed.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he struck a preliminary deal with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker to ease trade tensions and avoid a full-blown trade war with the European Union.

"This was a very big day for free and fair trade," Trump said during a hastily scheduled joint appearance in the White House Rose Garden with Juncker, hailing a "new phase" of trade relations with the EU.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average spiked by almost 140 points after the news broke, ending the day nearly 0.7% higher.

The EU agreed to import more American soybeans and liquefied natural gas, Trump said. Both sides will work to decrease industrial tariffs and adjust regulations to allow US medical devices to be traded more easily in European markets. He said the two leaders were working towards a goal of "zero tariffs, zero barriers, and zero subsidies on non-auto industrial goods."

How low is that bar for worshiping the guy anyway?

And how long before he changes his mind again?

I mean, I do hope that in the end we get along better when it comes to trade than when we started, because it's good for the economy, but "take that Trump haters?!"? lol

I just checked this morning. My 401K has grown by 42% since Trump was elected. For the previous 8 years, it grew at less than 20%. But I'm sure that was all Obama's doing.

This is how things get done Wally. Trump is doing what he has to do to get people talking and to the table. You can't wish the tariffs were fair. You have to DO something! Until now we have had weenies in office that were afraid of their own shadow. He is taking a little risk, but it will work out to our advantage.

The reason for all the opposition isn't because they think something bad will happen to America. The opposition is afraid of the good that will come of it. This is the reason that left has been trying to stop Trump from succeeding.
Anything good that Trump accomplishes, is bad for Democrats. Think about that for a few minutes, please.

P.S. Believe me when I say that NO ONE worships Donald Trump, we rate him by what he accomplishes, not by his words, words do not hurt Republicans like they do Democrats.

Dog Man, I checked, it's doing FANTASTIC. TBH I was shocked how much it's grown, Get A Clue is right.

The Left can see this also, that's what is so wrong, the Left doesn't seem to want this country to succeed unless a Democrat is sitting in the White House.

They don't even want to see the country do good when a Democrat IS in the white house. Thousands of factories were shut down during the Obama reign and he was OK with that. He just blamed it on the "Bush" recession, which ended in early 2009. He used that excuse until Nov 8th 2016........When we finally started seeing the fruits of his labor. Thank you Mr. Obama, Thank you for giving us the Trumpster. Your hard work paid off after all.

Excellent!
I'm not a fan of naval battle groups doing exercises in the Sea of japan, but that also seemed to have some positive effect. I don't see where Trump likes Tariffs either, but he does like to negotiate from a position of strength. Putting those big bats on the table with a resounding thump got results.

Trump plays chess whilst others play checkers. It's why, at the end of the game, he wins
