That's not even close to accurate. When US parents are arrested their children are routinely separated either placed with relatives or taken by child protective services. This has been standard practice under many Presidents. But hey, illegal aliens are universally good and pure deserving of immunity from the laws governing the rest of us.

The charge of evil Trump separating families of illegal aliens was used by aspiring Democrat nominee Kamala Harris in an attempt to harass the DHS secretary in a Senate hearing a purely partisan attack. Of course the good Senator's ignorance is replicated mindlessly by the Resistance aligned including media.

If they are arrested on California the kids go to authorities in california and when parents get out of jail they know where their children are.
These kids might end up in Michigan and parents have to track em down.

So do you think modern times began in 2017 when Trump became president? Or do you think Trump has been president for as long as US border control has existed?
Reminder, that picture of the children separated from their parents was in 2014.

The point is law enforcement separates families every day. Illegal aliens arrested for violating the law, including immigration laws, ought to be treated no differently.
