Kasich was wrong back then, plain and simple. He was running for president and tried to appease GOP primary voters, didn't take enough obviously. The Iran deal did literally the opposite of what Kasich was claiming back then, it didn't give them a nuclear weapon but took away the capability to build one.

He was as wrong then as Trump and his cronies are now. And today I read Saudi Arabia might start working towards nukes if Iran does the same.

A mideast nuclear arms race will MAGA, right?

Which is why the Kerry brokered deal with Iran is flawed. I doesn't stop them from developing a nuke. In reality, it maps out their schedule todo so. Allowing them to spend money(ours) and time (theirs) on developing delivery missile technologies. Hence the desire for Iran's ancient enemies, the Saudis, to prepare their own "defense"

If Iran doesn't develop nukes, the Saudis won't need them. Why is this hard to comprehend?

As for John Kasich, I supported him in2016. But, he has been so wrong so often he couldn't even win in his own state.. Why then, does his opinion even matter? Because it is conveniently malleable? That only proves there are useful idiots on both sides of the aisle.

From Twitter, LOL

The only thing left from Obama's 8 years is a friendship bracelet from Joe Biden and a presidential portrait of Obama sitting in the weeds
