Some places already have them. If I remember correctly (it's been a good 25 years) in NYC they would put up cement pillars on some sidewalks to prevent delivery vehicles from parking on sidewalks.... You know the ones, you give yourself gut-ectomy when trying to avoid them when walking on the sidewalk....
