Ha ha! Yes, I'm sure. And if some person out there thinks Midler has some sort or social redeeming value, I will consider that a good joke.

This coming from someone who defends every racist, sexist, and violent thing tRUmp tweets and says is kind of funny actually.

I agree with you that especially more so in these divisive times, rhetoric like that is harmful. And it's really not funny. What I am saying though is that without knowing Bette Midler personally, so sure I could be wrong about her, I seriously doubt she would really wish harm on anybody. It was a bad joke. And she should know better.

But you also have to realize that tRUmp himself is making statements like this much more accepted. His twitter feed is a constant reminder of incendiary, insulting and sexist remarks. So if you don't find widespread condemnation for Midlers comments, well look at the example the President is setting. He has divided this country like nobody else has since propably the Civil War and dropped the national diaoulouge into the gutter. So don't expect it to get better anytime soon.

I understand completely...

When Trump says or tweets something, it's Trump's fault...

When the Left says or tweets something, it's Trump's fault...

So easy to be a Liberal...You can always blame the enemy (That's right...NOT "political opponent"..."enemy")...

My point is that tRUmp n is lowering the national dialogue on all sides. But whatever, play your partisan bull****. you always gotta be the victim.

Trump is not lowering your so called "standards" all by himself dude.

You know damn well "this is a big ****ing deal" right?

And the Democrats have led the way. One of the foulest mouths ever to breath air in the White House was a former first Lady now defeated Presidential candidate.

https://allenwestrepublic.com/hillar...ecret-service/

But again this is not about Trump but the violence perpetuated by the left's absolute hate of Republicans.

Hate breeds hate and violence.

A lib (Midler) wishes harm on a politician and it's Trump's fault.

redd was right: it is easy to be a lib.

Almost to 3 pages and no lib yet has condoned Midler's comments....

So people lower their standards to 'crass and vulgar'. Glad I was taught better.

Shall we take it to the lowest common denominator, Rosie O'Donnell?

Back to topic - Midler should be held to the same standards as everyone else, and calling for violence, publically, on another person should have the same effect it does for anyone else.

She is trying to make herself relevant again, and in a way, I guess she did, but not the way she expected.

If you could read for comprehension and could overcome your ADD, you would. know I was replying to redd's say ing there were threats (plural). Don't take offense I used to not pay attention like you but learned better the hard way. Hope you can avoid such.
