Report: Obama deliberately misled America on Al Qaeda in 2012 to help his chances of re-election – TheBlaze

Quote:
Obama wanted to bolster his chances of re-election. Election 2012 was a major foreign policy campaign for both Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney. Controlling the flow of information and narrative helped Obama seem as though he was not only right about foreign threats, but that he had succeeded in fulfilling promises made when he first ran for president.

In reality, the Middle East was a hotbed of terrorism — which eventually bore ISIS — and Russia became America’s biggest geo-political threat, just as Romney had predicted.

This really doesn't surprise anyone. Obama was, and is, a politician. That means he lies.

The right spends an awful lot of time attacking Obama when he was probably the least likely to lie about things after Carter. Reagan flat lied and had to apologize. Ford was pretty clean as well. Old man Bush with the read my lips stuff.

In response to the open ended question did she "think the government was hiding something..." really?
Rukmini Callimachi, one of the leading terrorism reporters in the U.S., said ...

The overall narrative that I think was being pushed to the press, and if you look back at the editorials that were done when that trove came out, was an image of bin Laden isolated, he had lost control of this group,” Callimachi said, according to the Weekly Standard.

This is an opinion and not a very damning one.
What is damning is that the blaze still has to extract gnat sht to make up its lies about a two term president to cloud the issue of the shiddy job the present one is doing.
