Lena Dunham - What did she tweet about rape?

She tweeted in August, “Things women do lie about: what they ate for lunch. Things women don’t lie about: rape.”

Buuuuut now that a writer for her Girls show is accused of rape, standards have suddenly changed.

What is she saying now?

Her friend Murray Miller is being accused by actress Aurora Perrineau of rape when she was underage. She is now 23 years old.

Rather than believe the accusations, Dunham is defending Miller, who is a former executive producer and writer on her HBO show, “Girls.”

“While our first instinct is to listen to every woman’s story, our insider knowledge of Murray’s situation makes us confident that sadly this accusation is one of the 3% of assault cases that are misreported every year,” Dunham’s spokesperson said.

“It is a true shame to add to that number, as outside of Hollywood women still struggle to be believed. We stand by Murray and this is all we’ll be saying about this issue,” Dunham concluded.

Wasn’t Dunham accused too?

Dunham also fought off accusations in 2014 that she had molested her sister based on a reading of how she described exploring her sexuality as a child in her memoir.

Lena Dunham is one of those train wrecks in the process of happening.

Her moralizing of other's actions, and self-aggrandizing will be her down-fall.

I only became aware of her a couple of months ago - and firmly placed her in the same category as the Kardashians.

An actress from a TV show called 'Girls'. I had to be told who she was also.

A supposed self-styled feminist who is all surface and no substance, IMO.

That's more to the heart of it...

She has a show; I've never seen it...

But she is MORE famous for being a Social Justice Warrior and political moron...
