The port of San Juan is stacked with thousands of containers of food, water, medicine but there is no movement out of the port -- they are just sitting there.

The problem is nobody is showing up to drive the trucks. Apparently there are some strict rules in Puerto Rico about who drives commercial or cargo trucks; perhaps unions?

CBS reporter David Begnaud has reported on this:

I heard today that they can't deliver supplies that are on the dock because they have to clear roads first.

Now the media is saying that the blocked roads are Trumps fault.

Yes very strict union rules in Puerto Rico. When I was there it took 7 people to get a phone line turned on because each specific thing only certain people were allowed to do.

Wonder what it would take to get Union rules suspended.

Maybe they are going on strike for better pay and better pensions before they clear the streets and move supplies.

By tonight this will also be Trumps fault.

So CNN this evening is reporting the number of containers of food, medicine, water and other relief goods has grown to 10,000 and other news outlets are talking about the backlog sitting idle on ships outside other ports because there is no room for more on the PR docks.

But relief isn't flowing because . . .
