Default Kim Jong-un is at it again

Once again, Kim Jong-un has acted out; this time, firing a missile that overflew northern Japan.

This, in itself, will surely not lead to war.

But my guess is that eventually, we will go to war with North Korea.

Sadly, the options are not happy ones.

Although we could defeat North Korea militarily--and very quickly--Dear Leader would surely go down in flames, sending missiles to South Korea and/or Japan, thereby killing hundreds of thousands--if not millions--of innocents.

But if we continue to do nothing (other than ineffective sanctions), the Madman-in-Chief of the DPRK will soon acquire nuclear weapons capable of hitting an American city. And that is entirely unacceptable.

So confrontation is almost certain to come, eventually, it seems to me.

What do others think?

There is no red line.
Nobody has said anything about a "Red Line" but you.

President trump has said "all options are on the table."
It won't matter how he reacts to provocations by to KJU or the American press, You will disagree.

Tell us, oh sage of international diplomacy and truth, what he should do so we can analyze the wisdom of your plans.

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States; they will be met with the fire and the fury like the world has never seen,"

Firing over Japan is about as threatening as you get. I think fat boy is trying to get us to fire first to pull China in. This is a terrible situation no matter who the president is.

China has already given the USA a go ahead if we are fired upon. KJU may be trying to provoke by being sorta surly to bait our leadership. However, unlike a testy string of insults on the internet, it is a dangerous brinkmanship in the real world.

Perhaps he believes the American media's propaganda about Trump's ego and mental instability. He has plenty of company.

But the President has surrounded himself with military advisors. I doubt he will make a unilateral decision. More likely he will approve or disapprove their recommendations.

Of course China can change it's position on the DPRNK. hopefully something those military strategists keep in mind.

What propaganda? Reporting what Trump exaggerates is now propaganda?

Like all presidents. But Trump already said what he will do but he won't. His red line has been crossed. Nothing
