Actually there was a woman here in America who thought like that. You are however, partially correct. Your German dude was a big fan of, Margaret Sanger.

Since when is a freaking Court God?
The parents raised the money to bring the baby here for treatment, who the heck is this Court to say they can't?

So, you really believe this is right Salty? Wow

If you were the child's parent I'd bow your decision.
the thing is YOUR NOT.
And neither is "HUMAN RIGHTS COURT" and Judge.

GEZZ "HUMAN RIGHTS COURT" more Orwellian BSery.
"Parents have NO RIGHTS court" is what it is.
the court has declared itself KING.
If they've overridden the will of the parents and doctors willing to help.

the State is force.
I swear Anarchy looks better everyday.

Exactly the point. In a free society, one should have the choice to shoulder the burden. In a fair society, one should tolerate the choice of others in these matters but not burden them with the costs of their decisions.

In a humane society, preserving the life of a struggling infant should not be an argument which would require intervention of the Court.

We kill millions of the innocent every year and they have no voice in the decision. We may quite possibly do the same with the aged and infirm under the metric of Salty's logic. End the suffering of someone who, by law or policy, has no say in the matter.

I'm not talking slippery slope here either, but right down the well to hell.

I'm so freaking glad we aren't in that evil EU and subject to their barbaric rules.
Why would you want anybody to suffer like that like that baby has to?

the obvious answer is because the parents and the doctors in the U.S. still have hope to SAVE the child.
what's so hard to understand about that?!?

Why would some EURO Court DELAY the FLIGHT to the U.S. to get things started ASAP? They are making the child suffer more.

But with this "suffering" angle
Would it be OK for some random Nurse to sneak into the child's room to kill the child "mercifully" too?
Since only the NEGATIVE voices seem to know better here.
the whole "suffering" and euthanisia mind set is a demonsrable and dark slippery slope.
