[QUOTE=jimbo;878237 I'd call this the biggest blunder in this years political cycle.[/QUOTE]

Could be. Maddow just dug herself a new low and made MSNBC look more pathetic than they already do.

Here's the problem though ...
I see others here like Mikeyy do that pretty regularly (such as here, and here), and you never call them on it like you're doing here.
If you're going to be a rules lawyer or rules police, be consistent.
You aren't.
And ... unsurprisingly, the ones who do it a lot that you tend to ignore are those with whom you tend to agree with politically.

The rules do state they can indeed change thread titles like that, even saying it can be "subjective" when they do it.
But when there's a lack of consistency like we have here, it exposes credibility problems on the part of who is enforcing it.

Trump should hire Maddow to be his pr specialist. She's done as much good for him as anyone else on his staff.

Here is an article about her commenting on the backlash...

Then change all of them that violate the policy, (something you haven't done on several existing threads). But when you change them, please do so to reflect the subject of the OP.

That and that only, was my complaint.

Currently this title still suggests the White House released Trumps Taxes. Untrue...; The subject matter I presented, was about Racheal Maddow's "Geraldo" moment and the deafening silence from the lefties here..

Now, enough of your nasty pious attitude...; Put you hands back in your own pants and let it go..

The subject of the thread is the left's dilemma with the MSNBC's so called "Bombshell" that ended up going off in their face. What have you to say on that subject?

I assume you meant at least the last two sentences for F66 and not me. ;-)

I'm sorry, all of it was for FI. Your quotation was a mistake]

Having said that, I thank you for your exceptional post on this very troubling, and apparently non negotiable, habit of some Mods here.

0) Fixed.

1) I don't see every post / thread. And I don't always read the first post to see what the title is.
So finding other threads where it wasn't caught is a meaningless tactic. There are probably right-wing threads where the article / thread titles still don't match...
That's why we people pointing out such things is useful. Like what you just did.

2) Your allegation that I don't do likewise for left-wing threads is meaningless ignorance. Actually, outright lie would be more accurate.
Here's one I did for saltwn's thread.
http://www.politicalwrinkles.com/us-...-sh-tshow.html
Here's one for Shiva's thread.
http://www.politicalwrinkles.com/new...5-million.html
And one for Mikeyy's thread
http://www.politicalwrinkles.com/new...ord-motor.html

If you had even spent 2 minutes on an intelligent search of the forum's board, you would have easily found these yourself.
And of course, I don't expect you to be honest and apologize for your lying accusation. Like too many people on this forum (FrancSevin included), you don't like somebody so therefore you make accusations against them that are absolute b.s.

YOU CHOSE this article to link to in your post #1.
If the title was untrue (by your evaluation), then WHY did YOU choose to provide THAT link?
