Default Colin Kaepernick will reportedly stand for the national anthem next season

Translation: I'm a below-average qb whose contract is up and desperately need to find a team to take me and my whiny, crybaby baggage.

Regardless, it's nice to see CK not acting like a douche-biscuit anymore.

While Kaepernick received kudos from those on the left, many fans — and even NFL insiders — weren’t too fond of the protest, so it’s no surprise he’s changing his ways now that he’s looking for a new job.

Ouch.

I think he may get signed by someone as a backup. No way he has the talent to start anymore; he was never that good to begin with. CK doesn't have a good arm; he's just a scrambler that makes plays with his feet. In crunch time his arm is unreliable.

Plus the dude is a complete anti-American race-baiting scumbag. Hope the moron never plays another day in the NFL.

Do you think any team is willing to take a chance on a washed up never was player with the knack of doing stupid non american protests that reduce attendance?

I hope not.

Uncle Ferd is usually right. I don't watch as many sporting events as I use to due to politics. No issue is out of bounds for the perpetual pundits who I put on mute. What does Ferd think about an NFL cheerleader wearing a hijab?

the "protest" came about because he needed an excuse for pouting and sitting on the bench during the national anthem in the third pre-season game when the team was clearly going with gabbert as the starter. the kneeling didn't start until the following week. because he knew he was about to get released. and that ensured he'd be kept on the roster of a team with a head coach with a history of racism accusations. no other reason for a team to keep a $13million backup qb on the roster. he got his chance to prove his mediocrity because gabbert played so poorly.
but some team will give him a shot.
not as a starter but as a backup.
most likely the browns, jets or bills.

Kaepernick and others like him only do what they do because they knew it would outrage people and give them their 15 minutes of fame. Like other celebrities he purposely did something idiotic in order to get people talking about him. If people didn't act all outrage and talked about them then celebrities wouldn't do as much stupid **** as they do.
