WASHINGTON - The FBI and five other law enforcement and intelligence agencies have collaborated for months in an investigation into Russian attempts to influence the November election, including whether money from the Kremlin covertly aided President-elect Donald Trump, two people familiar with the matter said. One of the allegations involves whether a system for routinely paying thousands of Russian-American pensioners may have been used to pay some email hackers in the United States or to supply money to intermediaries who would then pay the hackers, the two sources said. The informal, inter-agency working group began to explore possible Russian interference last spring, long before the FBI received information from a former British spy hired to develop politically damaging and unverified research about Trump, according to the sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the inquiry. The Senate Intelligence Committee has opened its own investigation into Russia’s involvement in the campaign. That panel will have subpoena power.

FBI Director Comey refused at a recent Senate hearing to comment on whether the bureau was investigating Russia’s hacking campaign for possible criminal prosecutions. Spokespeople for the FBI, the Justice Department and the national intelligence director declined to comment. The BBC reported last week that the joint inquiry was launched when the CIA learned last spring, through a Baltic ally, of a recording indicating the Russian government was planning to funnel funds aimed at influencing the U.S. election. The BBC reported that the FBI had obtained a warrant on Oct. 15 from the highly secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court allowing investigators access to bank records and other documents about potential payments and money transfers related to Russia. One of McClatchy’s sources confirmed the report. Trump's presidential transition team did not respond to a request for comment about the inquiry.

Something is accreting here. Certain evidentiary thresholds need to be satisfied in order to obtain such a FISA warrant.

Her acct is protected now but Louise Mensch is saying that the 4 names on the FISA warrant were Manafort, Page, Roger Stone and Donald Trump.

If this holds true, then the FBI is well onto Donald's ****.

She said it explicitly, too, no hints.

And a couple other reliable people said not the expect explicit leaks but that the more Donald tries to shut it down, the more information will be made public.

He can't control the Intelligence Community and press of our international allies. Our UK and Europe bros are looking out for us.

Been following this pretty closely and to give an update, the story seems to be that Page, Manafort, Stone and Trump were the names on that FISA warrant. That part of the scandal appears to be more run of the mill financial scandal with the added bonus of it being with a foreign government, making it treason. This part is hinted at being more mundane financial crimes, Al Capone style.

Also, the NY FBI front office is compromised somehow and may have interfered in the election via the Anthony Weiner investigation and that the reason to open an investigation on him was purely to harm Clinton. This office went above and beyond the threshold of violating the sedition act. Also, the Weiner case may have landed on their desk based on information from a Russian hacker.

The CIA is guarding the biggest secret in American political history and Trump keeps pissing them the hell off. Let's see what happens next.

If it were true there would be supporting evidence..

Not just an idea, or a view point of what "might" be..

It is the last lie of the failed left wing, to take the blame the left wing liars have to cling to. If it were admittedly false, the left wing would be finished. It is the deflection of owning up to their FAILED policies, and CORRUPT party officials.

They have to try and make the lie the truth, or it is it in fact the DNC's fault.

It is the last thing they can try and cling to, to clear their names.

But with out definitive proof, they have nothing. The Media lap dogs are penned up with the reputation of being liars.

So no one believes any of this garbage.

We do believe the Democrats are fuqing liar's, that's what we the people believe.

There wasn't evidence to indict Hillary by the same FBI after a year long investigation and that didn't stop you from passing judgment.
