Of course you couldn't respond to Trump's lying Tweet.

You never do.

Maybe if you dropped your post in the appropriate thread, it would get the appropriate responses.

Same response.

But point taken. You're right.

That is why I did not support the ACA. Go back and look. My position has always been the same. I think Obama realized he had to work with congress to get something passed and that meant working within the insurance system. Not what I would have done or supported. Given that he got some good things done within that system.

As for your car analogy two points.

1) no one is making you buy a truck.

2) However by your example, we have choices

Under Obamacare we MUST buy insurance, and many states have only one or two sources. IE; many citizens did not get to keep the insurance we liked or our Doctor.
If this is all you got out of what I said the problem is your not mine. I explained twice to you that I did not support the ACA. Never did. But it was better than any alternative the other party was offering.

You said "insurance" , I'm talking about insurance. Mandated insurance doesn't get cheaper. Ever.
It's cheaper today than where it would have been without the ACA. It was rising 12% per year before the ACA. Do the math.

What we needed, is more affordable Health care.
And in my view getting rid of for profit insurance would help bring the costs of treatment down substantially. Look at the cost in all the countries who have dumped for profit insurance.

On that measure, Obamacare is a complete disaster.
Our system is the disaster.

And dishonest.
To use your own analogy, trying buying that Ford truck under OCare or worse, single payer. Under Ocare your choices are government approved versions of GM's, Toyotas, or Teslas. Under single payer you get the Yugo.
