But, back to the topic instead of us derailing the thread...

You get the respect you give. And if you're a Republican, you b*tch about paybacks being a b*tch. So sorry you're mad your guy is getting the respect you gave ours, Snowflakes.

We were talking about cutting the balls off pedophiles. Is it still legal to burn people at the stake?

No. We have this thing called the "Constitution."

At worst, it won't change anything.
At best, it could help a child prostitute realize that there is nothing illegal in their actions in the situation (which they can't control) and make them more likely to come forward.

So?
If the legislative act won't accomplish what you want it to, does that make it a bad thing?

If somebody were running around proclaiming that this legislation would cut child prostitution in half, I would agree they are being idiotic.
But I don't see anybody doing that.

I wonder where the parents are.
If my kid was missing, I would go to the end of the earth to bring her back. And probably end up killing someone and spending the rest of my life in prison.
From time to time, I see stories about parents taking revenge on people who have molested their child. Killing or assault.
I typically see the story involve the parent not going to jail. While I prefer justice through our judicial system (and not vigilante justice), I don't lose any sleep when the parent goes free.
And I really don't know how I would react if I were on a jury in such a situation. I can't help but think that such indecision would result in a hung jury (not prosecuting the parent).

Regarding my own family, I did come across a site once that showed registered sex offenders living in an area. (Sex offender can mean the guy was just caught peeing in public and had a bad lawyer situation.)
I plugged in my brother's address (three daughters) and was unnerved by the results.
While sex offender does not mean child molester, it still wasn't a pleasant finding.

Yeah that also includes men and women that get caught having sex in public. I think the fine line between crimes with victims and without needs to be widen very far. God knows that I would fall into the victimless category ( I used to have an Italian girl friend )

My nephew has a friend whose 10 year old daughter was abducted, raped and killed. My nephew helped search for her for weeks, it tore him up. She was a friend of his 10 year old daughter. I have no doubt that every Midwest man there would have been over joyed to put a bullet into the head of the person responsible.
