Default Close Clinton adviser goes off on Huma Abedin: ‘I’m just pissed off’

Libs have 'bout a million excuses as to why Pantsuit lost. Here's the latest.

I get sh*t every time I use the "c" word, so I'll refrain and just say Huma is one of 'em. Never liked that stuck-up biotch.

Close Clinton adviser goes off on Huma Abedin: ?I?m just pissed off? – TheBlaze

It looks like Huma Abedin, the longtime senior aide to Hillary Clinton, is the next scapegoat for the Democratic presidential candidate’s loss last month.

A close adviser to Clinton slammed Abedin in a stunning report from Vanity Fair released Wednesday morning, saying he “doesn’t give a s**t about what happens” to disgraced Rep. Anthony Weiner’s estranged wife.

The insider, who spoke to the magazine on condition of anonymity, said he is “pissed off” at the way in which Abedin, who has been by Clinton’s side for more than two decades, carried herself on the campaign trial.

“She was enjoying the red carpet and enjoying the photo spreads much too much in my opinion,” he said. “She enjoyed being a celebrity too much.”

And the unnamed source suggested Abedin’s behavior negatively impacted Clinton:

The close Clinton adviser elaborated that Abedin and the other tight-knit circle of people may have suffocated Clinton, preventing the campaign from taking in outside counsel.

For instance, the suggestion had been made that Clinton should show her gregarious side, by, for instance, appearing more often on “The View.” (She appeared once, but Bernie Sanders, her rival for the nomination, appeared a handful of times.)

According to this person, however, the inner circle nixed that idea. It seemed, this person elaborated, that even minor suggestions about changing the narrative fell on deaf ears.

The insider went on to tell Vanity Fair’s William Cohen that the “real anger” stemmed from Clinton’s inner circle. “They reinforced all the bad habits,” he said.

Cohen wrote that this particular adviser was most frustrated by Abedin’s “seemingly superfluous breach of decorum” during Clinton’s post-election concession speech at the New Yorker Hotel in New York City on Nov. 9:

On the day after Hillary Clinton’s stunning loss to Donald Trump, this person said, Abedin appeared within the rope line while Clinton greeted her morose and woebegone supporters. “You’re staff, O.K.?” this adviser continued. “Staff is staff. You’re not a principal.”

Though the source expressed obvious anger toward Abedin, whom one former advisor to ex-President Bill Clinton described as “a mini Hillary,” he also conveyed confidence about her future, though he did acknowledge that she will have to work to expand her résumé beyond “Clinton’s ascendancy.”

“She’s someone that will be sought after either personally or through business from many rich, very rich connected people,” he said, adding, “She’ll do very well for herself.”

They pay nurses' aids at assisted living homes that well?
Oh yeah. She'll be in demand as a 'personal assistant' by the wealthy who are about to croak.

Why are we still discussing Clinton?

As far as ex contenders go I'd much rather discuss Romney Likable guy, seems trustworthy. What's he doing now

I just read an article that according to a source in the Trump Administration Romny didn't get the Sec. State job because he refused to publicly apologize to Trump for calling him a phoney and a fraud. Also, Trump was quoted as saying he "enjoyed watching Romney grovel", when they had that dinner.

So, I don't suppose he's doing too well. Its unfortunate, because Romney gained a lot of respect for standing up to Trump, then lost it all when he went running back to him. Everyone knew Trump just wanted to humiliate him.

I think Abedin was a negative to the Clinton campaign, but I don't think "attitude" was any part of it...That's inside stuff...

First, her husband...Right out of the Bill Clinton wholecloth...

Second, her family's association with the Muslim brotherhood and some of the anti-American commentary from her family's magazine (of which she was named as an editor)...

Third, she was "allowed" to work for a private company while receiving government paychecks as an aide to the Sec. of State...

This other aide is pure sour grapes...If he's complaining about an aloof attitude, well...

...look who she was working for....

To wit...

New scapegoat for Hillary Clinton loss: Huma Abedin?

Quote:
There may be an argument to be made that Abedin cost Hillary the election in one practical way. Had it not been for Abedin’s careless handling of her e-mail connections, she would not have left thousands of messages on Anthony Weiner’s laptop for the FBI to discover while they investigated his alleged sexting with an underage girl. That prompted James Comey to inform Congress that the FBI found new evidence in the e-mail scandal investigation, which Democrats are blaming for turning last-minute deciders away from Hillary.

However, that argument has to rely on a particularly uncomfortable fact: Hillary Clinton created the e-mail scandal in the first place. In fact, her refusal to use the official State Department e-mail system required her inner circle at State to use the home-brew system that intended to keep Congress and the courts from finding Hillary’s communications as Secretary of State. Democrats could argue that Abedin should have been more circumspect in choosing which device to use while accessing it, but that’s like complaining about how the staff arranged the deck chairs on the Titanic while it steamed into an iceberg. Hillary’s the author of all that followed in regard to the e-mails.

Otherwise, Abedin makes a poor target for the knives. The slap at Abedin’s love of celebrity is laughable; she barely exists in the media except for her pictures standing by Hillary’s side. She did more when Weiner ran for mayor, but not a whole lot more, and mostly stopped after his second sexting scandal emerged. Apart from that, Abedin has never been a Svengali to Hillary — the authority dynamic runs in the other direction.

In fact, that suggestion and the broader accusation that Hillary failed because of a palace guard that insulated her from reality seems almost … sexist. Wasn’t Hillary the “chief executive” of her own campaign? Wasn’t she supposed to be the “most qualified candidate ever,” as Barack Obama and other Democrats claimed? Hillary was “a workhorse, not a show horse,” determinedly superior in judgment and executive ability, her supporters claimed — and accused her critics of misogyny for questioning those claims. (In fact, Hillary’s supporters are still making those accusations.) Now the explanation for the loss is that Hillary couldn’t see past her own administrative assistant or unbox herself from the team she put together.

This is just another embarrassing example of denial from Democrats. They nominated an unlikable and incompetent candidate with too much scandal baggage of her own creation, and then alienated even more voters by calling them bigots for noticing. Abedin makes a handy scapegoat for those unwilling to face reality.

Perhaps Romney thought Trump might apologize. Most people don't turn down a meeting with a president elect if for nothing but curiosity's sake. But Romney doesn't need a job. And he's 10 times the guy doni tiny-hands will ever be.
