I am LMAO. This video is like the holy grail for the right. Every Republican I know has sent it to me. Ha ha What ever makes yer boat float. It amazes me how a party that has been in power for all of these years are not responsible for squat. How handy is that?

I actually saw somebody try to blame it on the last two years when Democrats had congressional control as well.
It's amazing the lengths they will go to...

2004. Republicans HAD CONTROL OF CONGRESS at that stage...
Why didn't they just bulldoze those regulations through? They had the votes.

And as I said earlier, I would really like to know how this broke down.
Fannie and Freddie had issues of ACCURATE book-keeping, where there creativity helped avoid some pre-recognition of the problem.
The video EVEN ACKNOWLEDGES that "cooking the books" occurred, but failed to recognize what that means.

And of course, the PRECURSOR to all this, McCain's efforts to DEREGULATE THE HELL out of Fannie and Freddie, not ever mentioned...

The Republicans or if you prefer.. Neocons...have screwed the pooch and remain in denial. Every time I call Bush to task my Republican friends tell me.."Hey..he ain't one of us,he's not a Republican"...

Lets face it. The right is suffering an identity crisis. I wouldn't mind if they wouldn't keep blaming the other side of the aisle. They had it all under their control and screwed it all up. Why fight about that anymore.

the Democrats (not all but some) and the Republicans (not all but some) have taken dough-rae-me to look the other way on Freddie and Fannie and I don't want to know what else right now. That's plenty cause it's laying waste to the country.
I say get rid of them all. We need , and we should demand a viable third party that will be given equal air time to get their views across. the money shoulld be even across the board for all campaigns. It's like when Clinton outspent the Republicans, we all knew he would win. When Obama raised more money than H. Clinton, we all knew he would win the nomination. Finance reform is one thing I agree with McCain on. But his own party and the Dems don't want it.
